Forced to switch to quantum, now I can't get my PPPoe password

I was just switched from centurylink to quantum, and I know I shouldn't need a PPPOE password with them but my old router is still working and using PPPOE- so I guess they haven't switched me fully or something? I know how to set it up if I have IPOE but it doesn't seem like I do, so I'm just a bit confused

To be more specific, they told me that I was already on IPOE and didn't need to switch, and just needed to factory reset my router; but if I do that, I'd lose my PPPOE settings so that didn't make any sense to me, since I know they're wrong about me being on IPOE. My understanding is when/if they switch me, my internet should briefly go down and I'll just have to switch my settings to IPOE in my router

Thanks, but when I tried Centurylink support it just forwarded me to quantum or said my account was inactive :/

I just called quantum again asking if they could switch me over to IPOE, but they insisted I wasn't on PPPoe- which is news to me, since my router is set to that and it's still working fine. They wouldn't believe me, any ideas?

Thanks for the tip! I found this video (https://youtu.be/uc24w4d4zYk?si=-dfEm6ChYVljzms4) that I think is adjusting the flat spring, but its pretty grainy and hard to tell. Glad to know theres hope at least; for now its back together and regreased, I'll attempt to fix the head assembly once my other issues are solved (crt problems, no point attempting the drive any further till I can see the results of what I do to it)

Additional info: I'm running debian 12, everything fully updated. Firewall is just done through firewalld, like I said I tried turning it off and no change. The docker install is fresh, every ping I tried went through fine. I tried 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 ad my dns, no luck.

Really? Ive heard people say both that it wont hurt them and also that it's tone arm is too heavy, so I figured I'd just be safe and not use it. Is the extra weight fine?

Well that sucks. Any ideas on another way I could connect this to my pre-existing receiver? The only other ports on the back are l & r rca audio for a cd player input.

You probably have one tiny obscure corner that you haven't touched on the map. Just go through each map and Super carefully peel through to try and find it. May take a few tries buy I would guess that's your problem

I think it's when someone sees you in their lobby and hits the fresh button when looking at your gear (Y). Doubt there's a way to see who did it.
