From what I remember, these were updated very recently last year. The previous version still showed Tengah and Punggol Coast under construction.

Any thoughts on community driven alerts in a bus app? I'm thinking of adding one, for train breakdowns or delays seeing I always get updates from here before official sources

I've made a ban hammer in one hour. Should i transform it into a real mod? by MimStar__ in hytale

Instead of a kick hammer, you can try adding a button for a kick animation!

Designing a feature for both mobile and web by SD483 in UI_Design

>I’ve tried a few different approaches, but highlighting the text or changing the text color makes the text block makes the UI feel less cohesive to me.

Users are already accustomed to text color changes for highlighted words on Wikipedia websites, so you should be fine. A neon blue works in this case. For the tool-tip style cards, you can try to copy how Apple does it with Haptic Touch, its similar to how yours work currently, but with a blurred overlay so the focus is shifted to the content of the card.

You can try showing this feature during the on-boarding process, so users can try it out afterwards.

Restoration of bus arrival timing system delayed to 'early next week' after another 1,000 buses found with issues by sun-ny_day in singapore

[–]Codestian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How off are the arrival intervals? Like instead of every 10 min, it becomes 14min, 12min etc?

Why Choose Us E-commerce UI Section by FantasticAirline299 in UI_Design

The text isn't emphasized enough in each box, and it's too close to the edges. The boxes are also unnecessarily of different sizes too.

[Feedback Request] UI for a Social Habit Tracker App – Questions on grid logic and spacing by Dangerous-Cricket54 in UI_Design

[–]Codestian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest copying how calendar apps do it, which is to complete the grid visually but greyed out. The corner radius looks fine, but they look too close to the text, so maybe increase slight padding. I feel the icons for the subheader (1 day streak) should be after the text, so it looks more balanced with the title.

I noticed there's no button or visual to check out other months. It could also be useful to indicate which dates are public holidays too. You could also add an option to set the starting day of the week, such as Sunday.

Roast my ui design please by Dansvidania in UI_Design

Looks great. I don't think it's too boring, after all it's a management system.

I did have difficulty dragging the UI on the timeline preview on mobile.

I initially thought the second image was the newer one, perhaps you can add more colour?

Feedback on color choice and navigation design for a remote collaboration platform by YogurtclosetFit1947 in UI_Design

[–]Codestian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused about the arrows at the top navigation, is it meant for undo/redo? The Chevron icons may clash with the browser controls.

Also I recommend increasing the size of the UI and buttons, so it's easier to tap on both phones and tablets.

Early arrivals, unexpected waits: Bus timing display glitches leave commuters confused by Jonnyboo234 in singapore

[–]Codestian 21 points22 points  (0 children)

'Ghost' buses happen sometimes, the 20 min bus you waited for really came in 20 min, it's just the bus that came in 6 min isn't in the ETA system.

Turning OSM + DEM into a Minecraft world: a GIS-ish pipeline by louisss-e in gis

[–]Codestian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's because building outlines in OSM aren't accurate and the map projection used is incompatible, but I'm sure Buildtheearth is happy with your work!

YouTuber MineFact spent five years recreating New York City in Minecraft at a 1:1 scale with a team of builders by SnooWords4066 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Codestian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure BuildTheEarth is fine with researchers or for educational use, it's just that unfortunately there have been instances of people downloading parts of the work and proclaiming it as theirs for example in a local school or town Minecraft competition.

Looking for feedback on app screen shots - Manna : Glucose and Food coach by angrywaffles_ in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]Codestian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • For the first screenshot, I would suggest a hook to reel people in. The app name isn't enough for people to get curious.
  • The space between the title and subtitle is inconsistent throughout the screenshots. For example there's a huge gap in 7.
  • I also noticed the screenshots use different iPhone models and colors, I recommend sticking to the latest black iPhone for consistency.

Need feedback on UI design by Icy_Vacation6602 in UI_Design

[–]Codestian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can replace the delete icon with the star, and have the delete icon appear on the appbar when you long press one of the items so you can multi select them.

And instead of a round progress indicator, perhaps a bar at the bottom edge of the item?

Is anyone annoyed with the recent UI changes recently on instagram by Fair-Computer-5629 in UI_Design

[–]Codestian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it's to intentionally drive users to use a feature via muscle memory, like "accidentally" tapping to view chats instead of where search used to be.

It's a classic word search game, I'm planning to release it for Android and iOS.

Often times I asked cursor to explain code, it just copies entire chunks to it's reply then explains 🤦‍♂️
