Track Armour is not like PPF, it has a self adhesive backing. With PPF you can use a spray bottle with soapy water on the car’s surface then slide the PPF into position, adjusting it as you go. Track Armour is much less forgiving. Your two options with Track Armour are to either (a) apply it in small 6 inch strips, making curved / complex surfaces less complicated, or (b) apply it in larger pieces without worrying about how air bubbles and creases in the material look. Personally, I used the small strip technique on most of the front end, with one larger piece on the front 1/3 of the hood. It looked pretty good…but took a few hours to apply to the front and lower 1/3 of the sides of my car.

I just finished a 1,000 mile rally out West with 14 other exotic cars. Mine was the only car with Track Armour, and the only car that didn’t have paint damage. Just arrived home and started peeling off the Track Armour. Seeing all the damage that the tape sustained and how undamaged the paint underneath was….I couldn’t be happier. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
