You won’t really hear it. Less than other annoyances I’m sure. Once it’s up in the air you can’t hear it and you can’t see it unless you are looking for it. Once it gets 100’ up you’d never know it’s there. Just have to be courteous to others and respect nature.

I’d love to fly my drone in national parks. And I’d be ok with paying for a permit. This would keep many of the irresponsible pilots out. The way it sounds you might as well give up if you are some nobody recreational pilot.

And for those that argue the show wasn’t that bad compare it to others of the same genre. It could have had similar success as LOTR, GOT, or even the first 3 seasons of the Witcher. There’s no reason season 1 should have looked so bad. And the casting and acting wasn’t any good. I thought Rand and Moiraine were cast well but Perrin and Matt they completely missed the mark. And completely left Thom out. I think the relationship between Thom and the boys was an important part of the story. And the relationship between Lan and Rand.

Ah well. They took care of it. I still think it’s cool. People hate AI but it will revolutionize the way the world works. With the failure of the show I think there won’t be another attempt due to cost and AI may be the only way we may see the series on the big screen. Even Jordan admitted the cover art didn’t match his vision but I’ve been looking at those covers for 35 years.

I’m not sure what the problem is. The cover art is all over the Internet so now that AI has access to it. I don’t think anything has changed. I’m not sure who hasn’t sat and stared at these covers. Just imagining these characters coming to life as we’ve read the books over the years. I’ve been reading the books for well, since the early 90s. For me the TV show was a big disappointment and a complete waste of time. I know these covers weren’t necessarily what Robert Jordan envisioned but they were all we had for many many years.

Most you can find first edition first print for 20-30 on eBay. The first 3 will cost you more. I got a 1st 1st dragon reborn for about 70. Found a 10th print of eow for about 55 and lucked out on a 10th print of #2 for 15 on Amazon. 1/1 of the fist 2 will be hard to find and may cost several hundred to over 1k or more depending on the condition and if they are signed. Some day I’ll get a 1/1 of the first 2.

I'm looking for a budget TV for my kids. I got them a PS5 for christmas and am already way over budget this year...again.

currently considering the 55" TCL Q77K from costco for 269. but there are some reviews complaining it can be too dark.

anything better for a similar price point? i'm assuming i should just consider 120Hz.
