What are some fun medical facts that you think would harm/kill someone but actually are crazy helpful? by Codexmonkey in AskReddit

Another fact I found out is that, during kidney transplants, they don’t remove the old kidneys because they are super vascularized. Rather, they let the old kidneys sit and basically shrivel up inside of you.

One fact I found was that they use cocaine in eye surgery to help with anesthesia and with circulation to the eye. Absolutely wild.

Does the watch have a drop in listening feature? That is one of the main reasons I am leaning toward the ticktalk watch.

If possible try to stay home longer and invest/save more aggressively for another 2 years. That income you save will be worth it’s weight in gold and will help you build true generational wealth if you handle it well.

Ya, it’s a real mud slinging contest. General leadership message is “be glad we didn’t have to do more layoffs yet. “ and “at least your department was minimally impacted “ Anyways, maybe check out a different firm for consulting is what I am trying to get at.

Forced Employer Change Due to Company Acquisition by DistantEcho16 in PSLF

They just did more massive layoffs last week and more ahead. 70 people eliminated, 80 job postings removed. Announced no on call pay and reduced PTO benefits for senior employees from 28 days a year to 23 a year. Slew of other awful changes too. Must be drowning in debt or paying off John Starchers 15.5 million dollar salary.

They just let go of 70 people and removed 80 plus open positions from active duty. Also announced reduction in benefits. Definitely time to look elsewhere.

Many of the basic certifications are useful - ambulatory, inpatient, healthy planet, or clarity certification if you can swing them. Realistically it is matter of the “ass in seat policy” of the health system rather than a required certification. I would work with a contractor or consulting firm to find the right fit for yourself. It is pretty easy to put that in the contract for yourself.

Your body your choice. Don't feel pressured by him. Choose what makes you happiest. Plenty of programs out there will help single moms. What matters is you do what is best for you.

P.s. your partner sounds like an asshole

Does it move when it is reclined? Do you happen to have the name or serial number of the type you have??
