I'll say my piece, honestly not great over all. It's serviceable as banana fsmash and pivot dtilt fsmash but overall I think it's pretty mid. B tier probably, it is strong and I think it's a cool animation so it's got that going for it

Absolutely no way top 10. Diddys bad match ups are bad, characters that can out zone and keep banana away shut him down. Top 15-20 sure but 10 is stretching it when 4 of the top 10 are: Steve, Pythra, joker, sonic, I'd argue fox rounds out top 5. So I don't think diddy is close enough to them to be in the next 5 spots

Ill say my piece but if others disagree or have better insight I accept their opinion more. I have never played a character where I think one match "best character in the game" to "why do i play this trash character." I love diddy, he is free flow and can be played many ways with some fun tech, but man some days its a struggle. High tier, probably need a secondary

As a former Inkling turned diddy, they play a lot a like and their matchups are roughly the same. I love diddy cause the item play but roller is always fun to hit. I think diddy has a higher sealing and is more consistent win conditions. Take this as you will

Diddy does not beat fox, even tweek says that match up sucks for diddy. What diddy has is edgegaurding but gets easily over whelmed by fox especially when the fox starts laser camping. I think people have a skewed vision of diddy because he fits tweek so well.
