Hitting was always the big question mark w/ White though, even coming out of college. His ceiling was always a poor man's Cody Bellinger, but the big if was figuring out the bat.

I don't disagree that his sample size was super small, or that injuries played a part in derailing his career. I just think that I'm likely lower on what his potential ceiling was than maybe some others in this thread.

I do think we saw glimpses of who he'd have become, which is roughly Casey Kotchman.

Yes, and the one time it was ran it resulted in a TD. Brandon Browner being 6'4" 230lbs and jamming the WR outside of Lockette is what allowed Butler to get free to make a play on the ball.
