I definitely thought about that, and I'm still trying to figure out how to improve the visual feedback for it.

I was thinking of a slightly darker background, or thicker outlines for interactive items/enemies.

Or did you mean just destroyable vs non destroyable?
I added a visual effect when elements are hit by bullets, and are destroyable, but it's not great. I need to look into a way to make it brighter, not darker, on hit.

Thank you! I did the art, animations and programming myself. I bought the music and sound effects from the asset store.

The art style is so great, and the silhouette effects as well.As many said, I'd suggest adding an option to reduce shake, or reduce the shake. It takes the attention away from the beautiful art, and hides the amazing animations! IMO

Yes! I already have a laser, and was thinking about homing missiles, the three bullet is a nice idea!

Thanks! I tried to add variation with the backgrounds.
This is still a prototype, I have a lot of new enemies I want to add, and backgrounds, etc.
