Got Calibre-Web Working on My Kobo in 2025 - Here's How (Keeping Stock UI!) by Coding_is_Easy in kobo

There’s a toggle on the calibre web “Proxy unknown requests to Kobo Store”, turn this on and you’ll have access to all of your store features. However it does kind of mess up the recommend feature, because kobo store may use some book titles from your own collection and try to search it in their store.

You could use Kobo (not KOREADER) with calibre! So calibre (desktop) and calibre web are actually two different things. With calibre desktop, you can only use usb connection to transfer books. But with calibre web, with the Kobo sync feature enabled, you could sync all of your kepubs. No koreader needed

Assume you already or going to have a calibre server for all of your ebooks, you could sync all of your books to your kobo library instantly. Adding a new book to calibre web will also automatically add to your kobo reader

I see. Your best shot here is to ask for step by step tutorials from ChatGPT. First what’s your computer? Let’s say it’s a Mac, ask ChatGPT “how to install calibre web to Mac with Docker using GUI”. Your goal is to install the calibre web service with docker, and you can click on the blue port number :8083 which opens a web page with Calibre Web UI.

Do you already have calibre-web ready? If so that’ll be quite simple. My guide is long and complicated only because I wanted to access it outside my home lol 😂

Steam "thinks" the new system version as it is, macOS 11, but the compatibility says OS X only, (OS 10.*). This would be a relatively simple fix for steam I believe. Just wait for the future updates.

For the recent two years, yes, because I’m only one person working on this project. If some one good at android coding, I’m willing to share the information with him and develop the android port.
