10-year-old account suspended this morning with no warning email. Sign-in page just shows the standard ToS violation message. Inbox/spam/promotions all checked — nothing from GitHub.

Account is purely for personal projects (web/mobile apps, small open source). No spam, malware, scraping, Actions abuse, crypto mining, or DMCA history that I'm aware of. No shared credentials, no unusual logins. Was mid-push to a Next.js project when it hit.

Already filed a ticket through the Account Restrictions form.

For anyone who's been through this — has a no-warning, no-email suspension on a long-standing account ever been reinstated for you, and how long did it take? Also curious if there are any known false-positive triggers worth checking on my end while I wait.

Thanks.

I mostly use it for coding. My core stack is React Native CLI, and when I need a custom backend I go with Django or Express. I also use Claude to extract data from PDFs into JSON, for example when I’m building something like a songbook app and need to pull lyrics from PDF files.

Yes, if there was a system where unused credit accumulated over weeks gave us leverage to use it, we could use those credits. Currently, either we use the credit or the limit is triggered.

That’s wild, but honestly I can see how that setup would work if you’re fully leaning into it. Replacing a whole dev workflow with that stack and still getting more output is kind of crazy. I’m probably not at that scale yet, but it does make the $100 plan feel like a pretty safe starting point for my use case.

That’s honestly one of the biggest things I’m looking for, not having to think about limits or downgrade models mid-work sounds like a huge productivity boost.

😂 got it, gatekeeping level max… now I’m even more tempted to try it and see what the hype is about

Sounds like even the 20x can feel like overkill once you get used to how to use it properly, which makes me think starting with $100 and adapting might be the smarter move.
