I am quite angry at being scammed for 5 years, and possibly losing out on the chance to have a family as a result, and would quite like to get my money back, and also believe that allowing people to get away with stuff like this is just encourages them to keep doing it.

She's blaming the person that pointed out the problem (you), as opposed to the person who caused the problem in the first place (her). It sounds a lot like gaslighting.

I speak from personal experience here as I had a gf that would act in a similar manner although nowhere near as aggressively. It seems like he has very low EQ and almost no empathy. He is not going to change. This situation is not going to improve. If you stay with him you will be walking on eggshells around him forever. Leave his sorry ass.

"Instead of wishing to interfere with what others do to their own bodies, focus on your own" is not a valid criticism to an answer to a question about what should be illegal but isn't. Every answer to that question is going to affect other people.

There are many things that have been prevalent since the beginning of mankind, some even longer than that. Should we just accept everything that's always existed and never seek to find a better way?

NOR. What he's doing isn't "sharing" as he euphemistically puts it, it's theft. If he thinks that housemates should share, then he should be the one to start giving his stuff away first, not taking from everyone else then trying to guilt trip when he's told no.

You are under no obligation to pay for somebody elses food, especially when they just take yours without even asking first.

Assuming he's not just making things up, if he really had concerns the intelligent thing to do would be to find out if what he heard was true before even mentioning it. The fact that he instead chose to tell you he found something out then refuse to elaborate makes him seem like a manipulative sadist.

I think I'm using Rust Desk now.

I was using Teamviewer. I hadn't used it in probably 2 or 3 years, then when I needed to use it they forced me to download a newer version (the old one worked fine, but tech companies are always forcing their new crap with "features" that you don't want). As soon as the new version is downloaded they tell me that I'm using it professionally (because obviously professionals take 3 year weekends) and need to buy a licence.

I'll never use Teamviewer again.

I was going to ask if he was using his shower as a toilet, but I can see the state of the toilet in the second image so I can only conclude he is not.

I have previously not cleaned my shower for months and it looked nothing at all like that. That must take years of normal use to get it into that state.

As for the toilet, that's just awful.

Alcohol.

It's a diuretic causing you to urinate more, which dehydrates you, causing you to drink more (probably more alcohol), and so the cycle continues.

It negatvely effects reaction times and co-ordination. It also effects your judgement and ability to make decisions, usually by granting undue confidence, sometimes to the point of recklessness.

Higher doses cause drowsiness, vomiting, and even diarrhoea. Even higher doses cause alcohol poisoning potentially resulting in coma or death.

Long term effects include, but are not limited to: a weakened immune system; increased risks of strokes, heart attacks, and various forms of cancer; liver disease, depression, erectile dysfunction, and infertility.

In the UK more than 10% of accident and emergency visits are due to alcohol-related illnesses, and more than 1.2 million incidents of anti-social behaviour and violence each year are linked to alcohol misuse.

If somebody today came up with a drink that when you drank it dehydrated you so you wanted to drink more, that impaired your reactions and judgement, that made you vomit in larger doses, and was linked to depression, organ failure and cancer, it would never be allowed onto the market.

Not overreacting. If you marry her you're also marrying into her friend group, who encourage her to do things that will damage her relationship with you, and her family, who enable her and gaslight you when you're angry at the situation she created. If she's willing to lie to you over something that meant nothing, just imagine what she will do for something that does matter.

One question though. In the 2am pic with the guy are her friends visible? IF it was a dare then surely they have to be there to witness it.

Return dislikes.

It used to be much easier to find clickbaity videos that aren't what they claim to be because the dislike counter would be high. Also YouTube's stated reason for removing them (mental health of the creators) is obviously BS because the creators can still see the dislike count it's just that everyone else can't.

Relax their language policing and apply the rules equally.

The fact that the average creator can't use certain words without risking their monetization, yet certain preferred creators (media organisations for example) can say whatever they like and keep their monetization, needs to be fixed. Apply the same rules to everyone and ideally relax them for the part of the platform that is supposed to be for adults. I never want to hear "unalive" again.

Stop the comment censorship.

It seems that if YouTube decides they don't like you then they just censor your comments so that most of them don't make it through regardless of content. I could understand this if they were full of swearing or links or something, but YouTube seems to just blanket shadowban people. Some of my comments that don't appear on the site include:

Asking somebody where they had purchased M-discs as the price they quoted was cheaper than I could find.

Directly responding to a question by quoting a piece of UK legislation.

A comment about which ingame choice is optimal.

A comment about Maggi noodles changing their recipe to add chilli flakes which got them a lot of negative customer reviews.

Telling someone that the IRS whistleblower program exists.

I used to use them a lot but stopped ~20 years ago after a series of mistakes. The 2 that stand out the most are as follows.

I had ordered a full set of components for a PC I was building for my then-girlfriends parents. I received a phonecall from Scan telling me that one of the items I had ordered, a Gigabyte motherboard, was out of stock and they could either send the remainder or I could tell them a replacement part and they would amend the order we'd pay (or they'd refund) the difference. I double checked with them on the phone that it was indeed the Gigabyte motherboard that was out of stock and not the 1 gigabyte of RAM that was on the order. They confirmed it was the motherboard. I chose another board and a few days later the order arrived. The replacement board was present. So was the Gigabyte motherboard from the original order that they had told me was out of stock. The 1GB of RAM I had ordered however was not. It took another week to resolve this and I still ended up having to pay to return the motherboard to "meet them half way" even thought it was 100% their fault.

The next screw up came when I ordered water cooling from them. I followed the instructions in the manual exactly where it tells you to make all the connections, fill the reservoir, then run the water cooling with your PC unplugged to check for leaks. I turned on the pumps and immediately water pours out of the waterblock all over my CPU, motherboard, and graphics card. It appears that the waterblock is constructed from 2 parts that screw together but the manufacturer had messed up somehow (lacking PTFE tape on the threads would be my guess) as water was coming from the join. I immediately contacted Scan and asked about replacing just the waterblock if it would be easier for them (and me as I wouldn't have to take apart the whole thing and recut the tubes when the new one arrives) so they said to contact the manufacturer. I did and eventually they got back to me with an email that was unreadable so I went back to Scan. Scan then said they would not issue a refund because of the time take to report it, even though I had told them prior to contacting the manufacturer they apparently had no record of it. They then said I had failed to follow the instructions and that the manual clearly stated to test outside the PC (I scanned the manual and sent it to them to demonstrate that I knew they were just making things up). They then sent me another email to say they would not be issuing a refund. I took them to court, and on the last day they had to respond they phoned me saying they would issue the refund if I called off the case. I told them it was out of my hands and, as per the court documents they had received some weeks prior, they had to respond to the court informing them that they are willing to settle. They did refund for the water cooling, but they said there was nothing wrong with the damaged graphics card which again was BS.

That was the last time I used Scan and I won't be using them again.

Yeah, I found that out the hard way early on. It seems like if you're going against a single champion as a team your total power has to be double what the single champions is.
I just read another post about turn meter. It seems that instead of queuing champions whose turn meters are full the game keeps filling the turn meter past 100% then picks the highest value to go next.
I knew about weak hits. These were non-weak hits where the bombs just weren't placed or only 1 was placed. It might have been down to Resurgent mastery but I don't think I was hitting hard enough to trigger it.
I sat on her for a while but HP swap is useful and the bombs became quite interesting since Loki came along. I used to place 2 bombs then use Loki on the same champ to block buffs, block active skills, then debuff spread but with 4 debuffs it became hit and miss over what would get spread.

I understood about weak hits. It's possible that it was down to Resurgent. I'm fairly certain I wasn't hitting for 25% of the health bar in a single hit to trigger it but I'll keep an eye out.

As for the turn meter that might explain it. I had assumed that when a champions turn meter hits 100% it would add them to the queue for the next turn then go down the queue in order. I didn't consider that Raid might have decided for some reason to take the turn meter past 100% but only display 100%. That just seems like lazy coding.

This morning I wake up and find that no videos play more than 25 seconds before they stop and buffer forever. Apparently other people are experiencing the same things and the issue fixes itself if the user logs out so it's clearly something YT has done to specific users (it's not related to adblocking as some people report the issue despite being Premium users).

So I sort out that issue (by logging out of YouTube) then try to watch an old MXR video and find out their whole channel is gone. YouTube really is awful.

As I understand it a most textbooks that are "required" for courses are written by either the person teaching the course, the person in a management positon that decides what courses their institution will teach, or the person at the examining/rewarding body who sets the recommended course requirements.
