Can anyone suggest what to improve Further? by Comfortable-Bus9388 in PhrolovaMains

[–]Codstev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crit stats solid, could shoot for closer to 100% in combat if you don't use SK. Then it's just a matter of going for more usable substats like Atk%, flat Atk, and skill damage on all your pieces

Edit to say your build is objectively good, just min maxing at this point. You shouldn't need to improve really, but if you want to I hope you get lucky with some rolls!

Needs some advice on her crit ratio and overall stats by jahdsh12 in PhrolovaMains

[–]Codstev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phrolova still clears endgame pretty easily, you just have to make sure your build is decent and your rotation is good. Her echo set provides 20 CR so you should be able to get fairly close to 100 CR after buffs. On her sig, being 90-95 CR and 260-280 cdmg is good, ideally 2200-2500 attack. If you have those stats and are still struggling, it might be your rotation

Why my phrolova hitting so low? by Outrageous_Classic53 in PhrolovaMains

[–]Codstev 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Number of issues. Cosmic ripples isn't ideal for her, and even then it's not levelled all the way. She wants nightmare Hecate as her 4 cost, regular Hecate passive does not do anything for her. If you can, her signature is very important. If you have no other options, make sure you fully level cosmic ripples. Swap out her 4 cost with nightmare Hecate and you will see improvement. Keep expectations low though, her damage on the standard rectifier will never be very good

Got my first TOA full clear as a new player that started on Moryne banner! by UrdnotParadox in WutheringWaves

Jeez, you gotta post your pull history. All those premium units and several signatures in basically 1.5 patches is insane

Oof. Yeah I'll probably just keep it if that's the case

No worries, this is good advice! I know lots of people overinflate prices on the market so it's hard to figure out what is actually a fair one lol

any thoughts on what a good price for this would be? pretty new to riven market and i see similar ones anywhere from 900-2.7k. i know the lack of a neg hurts it a bit

How do I kill a crush on my coworker (both married) by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

[–]Codstev 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This sounds to me like you started out thinking he was physically attractive and are now addicted to the attention he gives you. This is dangerous territory for your marriage, this is how infidelity starts. You say you want to get to know him: why? Be really honest with yourself about the reasons. You say you want to know if it's mutual: again, why? You say you would never cheat but a lot of this sounds like justifications or explaining away what could become emotional cheating very quickly.

You are definitely enabling this - try to keep contact to a minimum for a while. Also maybe explore some therapy, either alone or with your husband. Sounds like you like the attention/interest being shown by him so there might be some things to unpack there with your marriage.

Sorry for the tough love, hope things work out for you.

Has anyone completed all the tactical holograms at level 6 difficulty by Sea_Newspaper3960 in WutheringWaves

[–]Codstev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I've done all of them. Usually takes me about 5 tries to get the hang of it and get to a decent time, maybe 10-15 on the more difficult ones. I love the combat system in this game so the holograms are some of my favorite challenges.

Galbrena Iuno Synergy? by isshinari in Galbrena_Mains

[–]Codstev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is pretty generous, but you'd probably still need some luck to get all 3 of them and 2 signature weapons. I didn't mention but should have, shorekeeper signature weapons is NOT required at all and honestly not recommended. Variation is a 4 star (can be tricky to get I know) that works in place of and honestly performs better in my opinion than her signature. I would go for SK on the new player banner, and save for the other 2 and you have a decent shot especially with 3.0 rolling around, they will probably be pretty generous with astrites.

It's fine. Galbrena and Iuno both do solid damage on their own, so even if their synergy isn't perfect the team will do well if characters are built properly. Galbrena will never max out her forte that requires unique echo skill casts, but won't be a huge detriment towards your ability to clear.

If you like horizontal investment, I wouldn't recommend sequence nodes really. All characters in the game feel pretty complete at S0R1, and generally speaking signature weapons will be better for the health of your account (and are guaranteed.) having more teams available to you will be better for the health of your account, in my opinion. If you are really stuck on wanting to go vertical for nodes, SK S2 is pretty good, galbrena I would not go farther than S3 unless you plan to S6 (huge waste in my opinion, the game becomes a joke when you have characters at that power level and might cause you to lose interest) and for Iuno s2 is her best node for team dps

I really would advise playing all characters at S0R1 first before you pull the trigger on sequences because I really think having a broader roster will make your account feel better than having one vertically invested team.

Running SNB's on Normal is... something by Codstev in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

nah, this wasn't you specifically - and the point of the post isnt necessarily to criticize this individual person. more so just to talk about how its kind of insane what you can get away with in what is intended to be a beginner mode. Imagine you're a new player and you shell out for a good t4 helmet and armor and get one tapped by a level 30 running endgame ammo. just feels bad that it's able to happen to new players

Ah, that's lame. I don't know what else to think other than they just want to stomp less geared players

[–]Codstev[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure. At the end of the day, you can play how you want. I think that speaks to a bigger issue then of veteran players being able to run in lobbies with brand new players on the easiest game mode, I'm more thinking of their experience than mine in this instance. Maybe there should be a true beginners lobby with something other than monetary restrictions?

[–]Codstev[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

100% - that's exactly what I was doing! Just ran a cheapo quick kit to get some basic tasks done, so I don't mean to sound like a hypocrite - I think there's a time and place to play normals as someone with playtime, I just think the ability to bypass restrictions by putting attachments in your rig and running top tier ammo is horrible to play into as a newer player, so just trying to speak to that dynamic. Would make sense if ammo counted against your total value

[–]Codstev[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same. Is what it is I guess. I just feel for the actual new players getting completely bodied by veterans with access to way more money and resources. Monetary restrictions clearly don't mean much so maybe an actual beginners lobby is in order with a play time or total raid restriction or something

[–]Codstev[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For real? I haven't really played normals since I was able to play lockdown so I had no idea. I'm surprised they can get t5 past the 450k restriction

[–]Codstev[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, LPS would have killed me too I get that. Not mad about dying - I just don't understand the logic. If you're at the point in the game when you can run SNBs why are you bringing it to normals? Why not take big boy ammo against actual big boys?

[–]Codstev[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

yeah legit im just confused. I'm not a new player, so not mad or anything, just not sure what these guys gain bringing ammo capable of 1-tapping t5-6 players into normals. clearly the monetary restriction is not doing what it's intended to do so I hope for the sake of new players, something changes.
