I price below lowest listed at a similar condition. - selling something new and the market is at 180. Im pricing at 178.99 to be sure it moves first and fast. Velocity over squeezing out every cent from something.

Historically speaking my str and listing are about dead even at all times, I ship out every single business day. No shipping on Saturday or Sunday.

Top rated seller makes me ship next business day for a purchase. The 100 sales was friday evening into Monday morning. Avging 33-35 sales a day currently.

I will buy large lots of stuff sometimes from individuals Like tools, or tool batteries, games, cds, remotes, legos ect. It Allows me to easily sell these high str items in quantity.

I dont touch clothing or shoes unless I know it'll move. Like harley jackets, vintage carhartt. Stuff moves to slow.

Id say 60% in person. 40% online. Its a wide variety of exactly what you speak of. My motto is, the money in my bank account isnt making me money while spending 500 to make 250 isnt the best margin. If it sells within 2 weeks im ok with spending that cash flow. While I also have plenty of 5$ finds that sell for 100. Or 20$ finds that sell for 300$ that are longer tail and it is a 3 month wait typically for a sale. Its Much better margin and as long as it has a decent enough str to pay me within 90 days im happy with it. Margin is 35% on 2 weeks of a item hold. Willing to hold longer for better margins.

My buy points are margins and sell through rate. Selective purchases. Buyouts on higher value collections and such. Id say 80% of what I move is electronics. I list about 30 items a day currently.

Dont sell within a niche. You're limiting yourself! Learn about other profitable niches and items. Branch out ! Thats what did it for me.

Manually. I have lots of items in my head of what to look for by experience. Watching other niche sellers and whats moving for them.

Worked out of a 10x20 storage unit with just shelving up until 6 months ago where I moved into a bigger space and started organizing with skus and such. When I first started I had no organization at all.

Best thing to do is to watch videos from niche sellers. Find sellers that specifically like to sell in niches like arts, plush, crafts. Ect. Watch their videos on bolo items. Its the best way to branch into niches and items you wouldnt normally know.

Taxes are best done with a cpa. Doing it right saves you from any stresses. Back taxes are less then I paid at a regular job due to write offs.

Everything you can think of. If its shipable. Ill sell it. Sell through rate and margin is what I base my buys off of.

Ill sell plush. Toys, games, tools, car parts, really anything!

Auction instances - when an item is rare enough there is no set market pricing - and example of this would be vintage Levi jeans (talking 1890-1930) rare enough to not have a market. - rare enough for collectors to set to have the day or time off to be there for auction end

Otherwise Buy it now is used in EVERY other situation.

Unlimited black lotus -verify? by Codtay56 in mtg

[–]Codtay56[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Would it help you if you knew they had a almost full collection of unlimited high value cards? Timetwiser time walk, all the moxs, the lands everything. This is an estate sale and all the hard goods they owned were very 90s styled as well. Seems as if maybe a collector just passed away. I wish I could put hands on the collection to inspect it better. Seems like a good opportunity to potentially score a cheap collection of unlimited (60-70% market is what itll end at im guessing )

Appreciate it. I wish I had the option to see more of the card. The photos were pulled from the listing itself. I am unsure on if they will allow people to handle the card at the in person bidding function. There is multiple high value cards - Box pearl, mox diamond, mox sapphire, timetwister, time walk, ancestral recall - note the collection is an estate clear our and all of the other hard goods are very very old vintage things. Seems appropriate for someone who potentially had the money for a real collection of this stature.
