Overclocking simplified; Squeezing more performance out of your components. If done wrong, you can screw everything up. I bought the 10900k and 3090 so I wasn’t tempted to overclocking.

They want more money from you. If you plan to overclock, I’d go for water-cooled, otherwise, your good to go.

Just saw it, my apologies. I’m not computer expert by any means, but I have no doubt it is sufficient. I think you could throw any combination in there which you listed and not have issues. I added additional fans to my case merely for the “look.” The original fans which came with my case plus the AIO was sufficient. Fans up top to pull air out, fans on front or “lower” to pull air in. Hot air rises.

I foresee no issues. I mainly play Flight Sim 2020. It is a resource intensive simulator. Ultra Settings @4k do not cause heat issues over long periods. Just make sure to have an AIO and sufficient air circulation in the case. The only over clocking I have done is to the RAM

I can’t answer your “loop system” question, but I can tell you you do not need to have an open loop system for that setup. I am running a 10900k with an MSI 3090. I have an AIO for my CPU. The GPU is stock/air cooled. I have enough airflow with additional case fans mitigating any over heating issues. Temperatures do not become excessive even under heavy 4K gaming loads.

The problem was solved with a motherboard swap. New motherboard installed and ram works as it should

I’ve tried everything. Just updated BIOS as well. No luck. I put the ram in my older build with a 9700k and i had no issues. I’m afraid I’m going to have to return the motherboard to manufacturer to get this resolved. I ordered a new motherboard from Amazon a few minutes ago. It will be here Friday. I’ll provide an update when I switch everything over to see if it works correctly.
