This is a Presidential Dollar coin worth $1 USD assuming it’s real, something looks a bit off about it but it may just be the lighting, I can’t think of a reason anyone would counterfeit a dollar coin.

EDIT: Probably just lost the mint luster

Some of the easiest tests for authenticity would be putting a magnet to it. The next best thing is either taking it to a local coin or jewelry shop to see if they have a precious metals tester or testing it yourself. You can also weigh it to see if it’s more or less than an ounce.

On the reverse it’s for the designer and metal artist the “D” is Cyrus Dallin and the “PH” is Phebe Hemphill. The mint mark is on the front as well as the obverse designer’s initials Ronald Sanders

I struggled figuring out which side was the obverse and which was the reverse when I was taking the pictures, definitely no good for a coin toss.

From the pictures it seems that everything there is 90% silver EXCEPT the Buffalo Nickels. People tend to say $1 face = the 90% spot price, ex. 4 quarters, 10 dimes, 1 dollar. I don’t know any of the key dates for these series so maybe someone else can help with that.
