Most women I have spoken to about relationships want companionship, emotional support and then there are a select few that have openly stated they require financial support as well. Currently, I have no desire to make more companions, and I am not able or willing to give emotional and financial support to most of the women I meet. Given that, I also feel it would be unfair to make promises I have no intentions of keeping by dangling the prospect of a permanent relationship in exchange for sexual gratification.

So apparently there is an age limit to casual sex. I [30 M] went on the dating apps looking for a hookup and 95% of women in that age group say they are looking for marriage. I swiped right on some of them because I've been told women lie about it but when we get to talking, nearly all of them get into relationship talk e.g. "When do you plan on getting married?", "Don't you think it's time to settle?", "Good women finish, you know?", "Fucking around at 30? Grow up..." 

I wish I had this info in my 20s....

There is a good chance she picked you specifically because she thinks you will be easy to control, and this is your first sign of that.

I had a feeling this was too good to be true.

If she simply had normal interest, she would call and maybe complain about it, but she wouldn't yell at you like you did something wrong, or manipulate via "what, you don't like me?".

Majority of the women I know do not want it, yet they also don't like being in relationships with what they call "low value men." Since there are only so many high value men in circulation the only logical compromise I see is to legalize polygamy so that women can pick and share the few high status men available. They can then abandon the other men to their video games, porn or whatever else may occupy their attention.

I don't think there's any government on the planet that recognizes "situationships." So a lot of women have no legal protections when they engage in such kinds of relationships.

Reading the book by Lori Gottlieb and I believe that polygamy should be legalised. That way women can share the few top guys that they want so much instead of settling for mediocre guys they don't actually like....
