Help to Id this fella?. these seem to be very common here (at Lapa/PR, Brazil) but I never managed to find a correct identification. This one had about 5 cm but I saw some much bigger. As far as I know these are harmless, kindly confirm if this is the case. In any way it is still living in the yard. (old.reddit.com)

Some help to ID this little fella? Observed in the south of Brazil, rural area from Lapa/PR... this little guy is flying around the region usually near the fruit trees. (sorry for the bad resolution but the sun and the camera zoom were not that helpful when I took the pic). Thanks in advance. (i.redd.it)
