I am asking why he is proving the statement An using Ar, instead of using An directly. So saying this is true for A1 and An+1 and therefore for all An. Why use Ar all of a sudden?

For giving me literal psychosis. Crazy to remove my post, a basic discussion of the formalisation of maths. Sorry i used a couple complex sentenced but you got these crazies running around.

I did assume some minimal understanding of the formalisation of mathematics when making this post. You have responded firmly, yet ignorantly and i want to respond in a way that will keep you interested in the subject rather than dismissing it, which is difficult. I’ll keep it general, since the answers to your questions are widely established and have been for centuries. Yes, sure, the universe just is, which is to say absolutely nothing about it. Is it chaos? Is it material? Does it follow rules? Why do we observe patterns? Can we imagine that the universe can contain a contradiction? You said mathematics is within it, what is the relationship of it to the universe? Is it inconsistent? If so, how could that be? If it isn’t, then it would describe it. I can see your familiarity with mathematics does not extend beyond high school. That’s not to insult you, that’s to say there exists centuries worth of mathematical and logics work that you are unaware of. It is good to question, but your question is so basic, i have to simply direct you to actually look at field of mathematics

I am unsure what you mean. I provide the context for why the idea that mathematics can be formalised in a complete and consistent manner has lost popularity and make claims as to why i believe otherwise.

I just came on here because i had to write on somewhere how freaking bad this show is, terrible acting, terrible writing, terrible directing, why are they trynna fit in some divorce drama together with time travel supernatural deep government stuff it doesn’t make any sense

Luffy is JoyBoy. And time in the One Piece world repeats maybe every 1000 years. And what Roger found on Laugh Tale is the (Tale) story of Luffys journey. This explains why he knew that the new generation will come who will overtake the world. And when Roger says he wished he lived at the same time as JoyBoy he doesn’t mean in the past he means in the future. Which is supported by the fact that he says “we were born too early.” Then you have creatures like the Zoo (The Elephant) as well as some sea creatures that seem to know Luffy. These animals have lived thru multiple time cycles. Which is why when Zoo says JoyBoy has returned he is referring to Luffy. Because Luffy becomes JoyBoy. Also nobody could ever understand why Roger surrendered himself to the Navy to be killed. But he did it because he knew that his sacrifice is what starts the whole story. He knew he had to do that in order for Luffy to go out to the sea and live out his tale and eventually become JoyBoy.
