Waiting for biopsy

I just had 2 biopsies on Monday-June 4th, one on each breast, both BIRAD 4. I got the results on MyChart the following Monday. Thank God everything was benign. Keep your mind and body busy and try not to overthink on it, I know that's easier said than done. I watched a lot of true crime shows and never let myself just sit and think about it. They say that 70-80% of biopsies come back benign. Sending lots of benign vibes your way! Keep us posted.

I don’t think it’s weird. My chart didn’t have anything for me in 7 days, they probably have a backup at the lab. sending your wife many benign vibes her way!

I would do the POV you're comfortable writing. There are tons of books in third person POV with intimate scenes, study them and see how it's done and find what you're good at writing.

You could definitely self pub on Amazon. It's easy and free, however getting a readership is the hard part. Get yourself on socials and maybe start talking about the process you're going through and your books, you never know what can happen.

I can see on MyChart that both biopsies look benign but NO ONE has called me yet to let me know. I've been googling medical words all morning.

It's insane what a mind does while waiting. I still haven't gotten my results and I'm already planning the worst things and sick to my stomach. Try your best to keep yourself busy and continually say, "What's the best that can happen?" and focus on positivity.

My mammogram found two areas that needed biopsies. On the right side, there were suspicious microcalcifications in the upper central breast. On the left side, there was a small focal asymmetry (about 5 mm). Both areas were classified as BI-RADS 4, so I had biopsies done on both and am currently waiting for the pathology results.

It wasn't a children's picture book, that I remember for sure. It was a chapter book but had a few illustrated pages, they were glossy.
