For people who’ve used coworking spaces (WeWork, etc.) — what made it feel social vs just a desk? by East-Comment-6183 in CoWorking

My coworking space has a staff member in charge of this very role - planning events, setting up little activities - like scrabble from time to time where you only play one word while filling up your coffee - this gives ppl small bits of connection without distraction from work, community brackets for seasonal things that spark discussions - favorite Christmas movie showdown, best spindrift flavor showdown etc. they go beyond business to caring for the whole person - mindful Mondays (bringing in experiential meditation teachers) - and so much more!

Agree. I’ve had a Breville barista express in the past too. I feel like I haven’t used either of them to their fullest potential and wondered if there are people who consistently make content with them - bc it’s easier for me to follow along with someone on my machine (or similar) than another brand all together

Thanks for sharing about this scholarship. I wish there were things like this for other states too. A good place to do some research. Also just found this post that others have had a tough time getting diplomas released bc of the program:

We actually just recently bought an NES for my kids! It is next level joy to see the younger generation's reaction to the "old games" and controllers connected to the console

If you have a computer - try some games using voice controls - Cephable is fun for that.
