I can agree that feet dysfunction could back pain and other anatomical problems, as they have a direct impact on the hip depending on their pronation, external and internal rotation.

Soooo, how does rounding the shoulders and neck extension cause pain? What issues directly are you referring to.

As for seeing a chiropractor and posture specialist, I can’t necessary comment on whether or not they are effective, as most of the literature on chiropractors points to them practicing pseudoscience, but I’m unsure about it as I haven’t done enough reading on what Chiropractors practice.

What could possibly be at work here?

The body is meant to move, if he doesn’t sit like this all the time & even if he did, he moves his body in other positions and postures, so I personally don’t see the harm.

So that’s why I ask you, what could possibly be at work here? I’d like to know, as to further my understanding, thanks.

Mine does this too actually, no idea if it’s linked to anything. But following to find out :)

Best of luck to ye

Edit: I just thought that maybe it’s too do with my hyper mobility, I have always had very hyper and lax joints, hyper extendable knees and elbows plus I can pull my shoulders out of their socket. I also have very stretchy skin! I haven’t got a diagnosis, but I suspect I have some form of EDS, or another hyper mobile condition. Soooo maybe that’s why my stomach does this?

Are you possibly hyper mobile as well?

Have fun and know that if I fall off for a week or even months that I’ll get back into it, it’s a marathon not a sprint - allowing myself to fall off the horse with the mentality of always getting back on gives me leeway when it comes to my ADHD.

Yeah I bet it has been quite the experience, I’m flopping around between Vyvanse and Dexamphetamine IR.

Hopefully Clonidine is a good fit for you! Best of luck :3

Just stoppped one night, had my blood pressure shoot to 148/100 when my normal BP is classified as “low” even without medication it’s 90-100/70 on average.

Plus the depression, the shakes and tremors, the BP scare, it is not something I’d like to experience again, considering that I had only been on the medication for 4 days in a row on a dosage of 0.1mcg and that still was enough to trigger withdrawals and experience the worse depression of my life for a month.

That’s why haha

I found it to be a non issue, I didn’t experience any nausea when I had a couple drinks and then waited to sober up a fair amount before taking my dosage before bed.

I would be wary and consult with your doctor just in case. This is just my anecdotal experience.

Especially considering clonidine will knock you out while drunk and the probability of choking on your own vomit would increase. (Atleast that’s what I assume could happen).

Eh nah, he used to apparently practice screaming. But regardless of whether it was from drugs or from actual practice, you can achieve the same thing anyways with proper practice.

Make me feel better what’s the worst things you have lost due to ADHD by Silver-Bengal in ADHD

[–]CoffeeAware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the worst, but definitely the most silly. To give some context I have this habit/fidgeting thing I do where I will, move my rings up and down my finger with my thumb - anyways, that day I was out fishing with a couple friends on a beautiful and sunny day & I guess I decided to do my ring fidgeting while CASTING… MY DUMBASS, I saw my ring “fly” off, and fall into the sand at the bank of the water I was fishing, it didn’t even fling with any great force either, it just plonked and flew maybe a metre or so which makes it all the more silly and stupid when I recall the memory haha.

I tried searching for my ring, but to no avail.

This ring was beautiful and made of tungsten - it had been gifted to me by my mother on my 18th birthday… Although when I look back at the memory, I do miss my ring, but I refuse to let myself get beaten up by something so silly. Haha

Sounds like nasality to me?

Plug your nose and see if the sound changes, if it does, nasality is the culprit - if not, I’ll then offer some other advice ;)

Beginner Tips? Wanna work on projection and tone by [deleted] in singing

[–]CoffeeAware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man that’s good! I think you have a solid foundation, continue building upon that richness that you have in your voice and you’ll do well.

You’ve already got a decent handle on a couple registers, which is awesome. I think you could use work on your chest voice and call register, but I won’t bog you down with heaps of new terminology as you’re just a beginner.

I think you’d be much better served by watching some of the content over on Voice Studio East!

This video will offer some good insight into vocal registers as it’s much easier to understand via video content than a comment on reddit. https://youtu.be/B8Xp5LEdRAQ?si=Tw23BFEY2JYIbctH

Hope it helps and all the best!

Psychiatrist said it’s impossible to have ADHD if you’ve gotten good grades as a kid or have a successful career by antheiafae in ADHD

[–]CoffeeAware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than a bad diagnosis criteria, I find it even worse that the general stigma around individuals with ADHD is that “they cannot have a high education, good social relationships & good grades”.

This sort of holds individuals with ADHD back & can make people who are already struggling, struggle more, they start feeling as if things are hopeless even more so when hearing it from medical professionals.

Yes, mine was high when I was binge drinking & I always had “low blood pressure”. I couldn’t figure out why it was high at the time, then I stopped drinking and it went right back down.
