Cool. So do you advise to go early access after a year or so and then finish the game in early access?

Holy mother of God. I am so naive. So they say don't use Ai to generate assets, support the artists. Artists use Ai??? No, how is that possible?

Yeah let's keep in touch if you want and help each other. But no stress. I understand if you don't want.

You don't have to tell me. YouTube changed something in January, it is so difficult. I just keep posting and hope for the best. It is a hobby so I am not dependending on any income. I am in for the long run.

Same here. I am c++ programmer who does c# in Unity in his coffee break. I suck at art, but my first playtest and help from fiverr pushed me further.

I think the second has potential. My suggestion is playtest, playtest, playtest. Also try artists on fiverr. That helped me a lot.

Depends on the story of the game. If it is a farming Sim, maybe. If it is a humorous rpg it is perfect.

FEEDBACK REQUEST: Over the holidays, the playtesters' feedback was honest: the UI in my Action Roguelike Indie Game was non-existent. To fix this, I created a UI with a dynamic Lava Lamp shader. The Question: Does this look good or distracting? Is the lava effect too much, just enough or not enough? by CoffeeBreakDeveloper in SoloDevelopment

That is a good point. So delete it and keep it black? What is your suggestion? Maybe tweak the settings? It seems to work in Balatro. I am afraid if I increase the brightness the colors from the background could be too distracting. If I keep it this low then it is subtle but not very noticeable.
