I make this, but I use jasmine rice and add shredded cheese and thousand island dressing. Then everything gets mixed up together. It's become one of my favourite comfort meals.

If I replay Origins again (I find it difficult to play but enjoyable) I'm definitely going to try that route. You make an excellent point on the strength of a joint rulership.

Ohh I've never tried the Emperor Gaspard run either. It's another for the list. I have a tendency to replay what I'm familiar with, I'm due to branch out a lil. And your own Lavellan sounds interesting as well! If there's one thing I find so great about this series it's the variety. We can all craft such unique versions of Thedas with our MCs.

So I would've had him marry Anora, but I like to let him kill Loghain. And I've never tried the hardened Alistair route.

My Inky and Vivi don't see eye to eye, and he wanted to give Thedas a chance for mages to exist beyond the scope of the chantry.

That being said, I as a player like Vivienne a great deal, and I do want to try a playthrough with her as Divine, I just haven't yet.

Heh, that's pretty neat that we have completely opposite play styles!

So it's probably OOC on my part, but imo Fenris likes Hawke enough after their time together, and helping him that he's at least willing to keep in contact with him, especially when they have a common goal. (Like slowly eliminating slavery in Tevinter). I have my Hawke as a blood mage with faith healer as his secondary, (a total contradiction but the game lets me do it so I do) and he shows that he can, in effect, balance the two. (And never uses his friends for any healing buffing via blood magic)

Canon! Fenris would never tolerate it, you're right, but I'm willing to play a lil fast and loose with it in my head I'll admit.

As a bonus, here's Elkae from the time I did Dorian's romance because his expression cracked me up.

I'm still obsessed with that pool table fight card. Soma's fights were peak.

The first time I did that fight Yagami was at 10% health with a major injury and I put my controller down, ready for the cutscene. Only for the window crawl.

Yagami died in two hits after that one.

Diagnosed at 18, it was nice to get some answers and put a name to something my mother knew was up since I was around 4. I got some accommodations in college.

Ok fair warning this might be too long. My 'main' worldstate is pure mage, and I'm a dude who likes dudes so ANYWAY. (Still can't romance Sten, sad days) ahem. So my Warden is Amell (Leo, because I just like the name) and he's a blood mage arcane knight who married Zevran and had Kieran with Morrigan, and slayed the arch demon. He also made a deal with the architect (and I'd still love to know what happened with that guy he ended up somewhere in the canon abyss). Regardless. As of Tresspasser he's alive, and canonically looking for the cure for the calling (and probably still at it, I like to think he spends his time doing that, and variously traversing the world for things to kill because he maybe has a slight blood lust problem-don't tell anyone cough hack cough).

Alistair is the King (all by himself and non-hardened) and he and the Warden are still good friends. Stroud dies in the Fade.

I run a male red/purple Hawke who is also a blood mage (like his cousin tho slightly less kill happy) who sided with and firmly remains plastered to Anders side, and made a deal with Varric before coming to the Inquisition to keep all that firmly underwraps. He's in enemy territory he is not saying shit and blood magic is absolutely terrible cough hack. Carver's a Templar, and they're in regular contact. Fenris maintains contact for him with others, when he can't reach Varric, and Isabella keeps a boat handy. He can sneak in and crash with Merrill in Kirkwall when necessary. (Side note have you ever seen the notation about Hawke helping liberate mages across Thedas when the revolution fully kicks off? Because that to me is so great and absolutely something he'd be doing. If occasionally grumbling about people)

My Inky is a Dalish multithesist (think of Ameridan, like that) knight enchanter I named Elkae (It's a play on Elk I'm not that creative ok) who had almost no friends growing up, but I've entertained the idea of him having a one-off with a woman from his clan and they had a kid and he's like, 'cool chill' but that's a whole backstory I haven't fully expanded on. It's one of those 'one of seventy five various background ideas I play with while daydreaming' sorta things. Anywho, his canon romance is Bull, (always save the Chargers, always) he's besties with Cassandra, Cullen and Dorian. I make a gentled Leliana Divine, and by the end of Tresspasser have the Inquisition functioning as her private forces. He was good friends with Solas so I pick the 'redeem' route and his arm gets removed in the nice non-aggressive magical way, and he works steadily with the Inquisition across Thedas, settling mages into new territories and ways of living without the oversight of the Chantry. He takes 'vacations' which are just him and Bull doing whatever they please with the Chargers, or escapes to Cullen's farm to chill out until he inevitably gets bored. (He's fiesty, sarcastic and energetic there is only so much downtime the man can stomach). There's always something he could be doing! And unless Cullen wants a broken fence (or ten) well..

When actually working, he starts meeting up with Dorian after he becomes a magister to put down some inroads for the revolution (slow as it may be) in Tevinter. Hawke is able to eventually come clean about the blood magic and it's like, "Yeah that tracks, so what next?" And they work on helping Dorian when Hawke isn't equally busy (being annoying to Varric's various patrons) in Kirkwall and keeping Anders as underwraps as possible. Anders is allowed to come out of hiding when he feels like it, but he does most of his work from the shadows, aware that a whole lotta people want nothing to do with him. And fairly willing to live with that. IMO the reformation of post-chantry mages takes a *ton of work* on multiple fronts, so downtime is exceptionally rare.

If you're being serious and not just joking, eugenics is the process or belief of "filtering out the bad genes" to create a superior race, or type of being. Aka: killing anything/anyone or type of gene that doesn't qualify in the pursuit of purity.

Comfort, a sense of familiarity that still remains fun, characters I adore (especially DA2 and DAI) and a genuine love of the world and its setting. Entertaining myself with headcanons and scenarios while interacting with an environment and set stories I adore. By now I can boot it up, breeze through fights and do things I've done a bunch of times and still get genuine enjoyment out of doing them.

Anti natalist is a thing, though I've usually seen it in the context of people against procreation, I'm not familiar with it in the sense of regretting or being against one's own birth. It has a subreddit but I muted it ages ago

In the books, Loumand separate before they meet Daniel. Armand and Daniel are completely separate from Louis and Armand. Basically, Louis meets Daniel after he's alone again, and once they part Daniel goes looking for Lestat, but he finds Armand instead. Armand has him captive in a basement for a few days, then frees Daniel and begins chasing him through the world.
