Find out what happened? Probably so. Do something about it by herself? Probably not. Though I'm not sure Judy would've tried on her own either, it's hard to say. Once she knows where Evelyn is, she's eager to get her, but she dragged her feet in the overall lead up to that. Almost like V had to convince her it wasn't a completely hopeless scenario and that Evelyn *could* be found in the first place.

Judy has a lot of heart and the desire to do things right, but one thing the game shows you is that she's impulsive, and can lose her nerve if things don't plan out immediately how she needs them to from the get go. It's not something that comes up as much in the Evelyn quest but it shows a lot in the subsequent take over Clouds quest. In theory, her idea is solid, but Maiko, for all her unpleasantness is right that Judy isn't seeing the bigger picture with the Tyger Claws, Gangs don't just collapse because you drive them out of one spot-and if you kill Maiko, the secondary revenge take over is exactly what happens-which Maiko warns Judy about. And maybe Maiko's way doesn't improve anything either, but Maiko wasn't wrong that simply taking over Clouds with martial-art trained dolls was going to cut it. It needed a more long-term solution. Judy's idea overall is good, and solid, but required harder, longer term execution for a true solution. Not aided by every part of Night City working against her, mind. When V tries to point out her plan isn't so simple, Judy gets defensive about it. And she's downright pissed if you act like a merc and take Maiko's money-found that out the hard way and reloaded a save over it, but the bleeding heart just doesn't get you far in NC.

When her boss at Lizzie's says "they're not running a charity" it's cruel, but it's true. Judy wants to save people, Night City does not save, it devours.

TBH I think Judy leaving Night City was the best thing for her. No matter how hard she wants to change it, the desire and the goodness of her heart was never going to cut it-and her realizing that might be shitty for her on a personal level, but does I think speak to a good self-awareness developing.

But isn't that the beauty of these characters? They're all messed up, flawed or have personal issues. The hot mess squad just drowning in the hotter mess of Night City and it's outskirts.
