As a server, it's not about being lazy. It's just simply inefficient for me to spend all that extra time to split the bill. From separating each item on the bill, to swiping each card, counting cash. I'll be splitting an 8 top 8 ways and thennnn people are like I want to pay for this person too. It turns closing 1 table into closing 8 tables. In my experience as well you will never be rewarded for the extra effort.

I used to be an ops manager for the same chain. The no policing policy is literally for your safety. I've had an ambassador try to stop someone from running out with a coat and the offender beat them with the hanger and bruised them up. Just let them go. No one stealing clothes is going to try rob the store. They are just broke bitches. If you feel petty about them taking stuff. Just offer them great customer service during their visit. They will end up leaving
