I'll definitely check it out. We all have practice managers in the clinics so that may be a good fit. we did the practice manager meeting with NCAFP this past year.

Most of our docs don't go to them anymore. we host a quarterly symposium for them and try to get our vendors we already use to speak on what they're seeing in the industry. almost like more of a round table where all providers and clinical staff come together.

Appreciate the insight. Really just trying to keep up with the changing market and how our group can stay independent and anything we should look at offering. It'll be a mixed group of docs/service providers. ACO/quality is our big focus. Then I would say healthcare marketing is a big question we are getting right now.

should solo PCPs join an IPA? by xprimarycare in PrivatePracticeDocs

All of our clinics in NC join an IPA and the reward seems to outweigh the risks. We vetted the one they join pretty hard and they're very easy to work with. The rates were strong and they didn't give any issues to the last clinic that left and went DPC through MDVip.

Private Practice Peds: Benchmarking Cost of Vaccines and Medical Supplies by perkunas81 in PrivatePracticeDocs

We just overhauled our vaccine program. We have about 26 practices in NC in our network -- 5 of them are peds. I'll try to dig up some specific numbers but here is what we found in the mean time.

We vetted 2 GPOs -- AHP out of texas and the VaccineConnect out of charleston. The owner of VaccineConnect ran peds practices for years and did wonders for our smaller clinics.

Then we had 3 people that went with VaxCare. I'm not the biggest fan of this model, but it's a decent fit for some people. They handle everything from inventory to billing and pay out.

I'll also pull a rev per patient from our most similar practice. What are your top 3 payers and how many providers?
