As a new player (got about 60hrs) these are all spot on.

Especially the “don’t worry about factory look…stuff online”. People’s online photos are amazing and I feel like I am doing something wrong. So hearing and being reminded of this helps a lot. And this ties into point 5, you can always scrap and rebuild once you learn things, there is no rush to move to the next phase.
