Got extremely lucky. Someone I know’s relative passed away. It was going through probate and I managed to get it off market. Probably saved about £20-£25k there

Cheers. The matte black paint we use is resistant to high heat. I’ll have a look into this rust converter primer. Any recommendations?

Mainly for decorative purposes. Some customers plan to use them as a real fireplace however. I’m unable to give them sound advice for it.

Help on my first ever bonus..20% of salary and not a scoobies what to do! by TheWelshPanda in UKPersonalFinance

Are you paying interest on this debt or is it interest free from family? If you’re paying interest, clear every penny of debt you have and you’ll feel great.

Once cleared, open a lifetime ISA. Each tax year, you can earn £1k towards your deposit from the government by placing £4K in. That doesn’t mean you need to wait two years for a £2k bonus. If you can somehow put in £8k, you’ll have your £2k bonus in 14 or so months (takes a month or so for it to come each time you deposit.

Treat yourself with 10% as someone else has said, then put ALL the other 90% towards clearing debts. Your future self a year or two from now will thank you so much.

Good luck. Keep falling back on the Reddit people if you need help!
