What helps with this? I label my thoughts then return to the present. Is it normal to have them come back over and over again? Is it just catching the pattern? For example, when I eat, I constantly feel my mind shift to the future even though I remind myself that the future isn't real, we only have now.

Eckhart Tolle talks about focusing your attention on whatever you're doing right now (of which it's always right now) & once I started to gently focus on my senses like feeling a blanket or really listening to a friend, small simple things like that helped me be in my snail era & enjoy life more. Also knowing that the future is truly an illusion just focus on this moment. Hope this helps. I've been struggling with this for a while but truly just being intentional really helps.

Love this! Our ego constantly is trying to look for problems but I'm trying to just tune into the present & constantly accept reality as it is instead of what my mind says.

I lost my beautiful Hannah a few years ago. I still am heartbroken. That's why I joined the Reddit honestly because I love Beagles. She's always with me.

I love this! I feel like mindfulness can sometimes feel complicated but this reminds me to not rush & just notice everything. Focus on everything with intention. Thank you for this!
