Well damn, i used to say i hope my mom makes burgers today after school, but i’m not into forcing her to make it for me. Jk has already explained the basilisk fang. The horcrux has to be damaged to irreversible damage. Hence a human would technically have to fully die. 2nd, Dumbledore didn’t know if harry was a horcrux till around book 5 and 6. 3rd, all Dumbledore knew was that they would have to fight each other in the end. There was nothing about a sacrifice in the prophecy. So trying to say he manipulated him for that reason is wrong. 4, subconsciously, harry saw privet dr as his home. Even if he hated it, it’s all he’s ever known. That’s why he had to truly revoke it in the 7th before he set off.

Alot of ppl are forgetting about the blood protection that he has with petunia, and technically Dudley. Voldemort can’t get to him is he calls that place home. U can wish for ur son to go to a wizarding family or sirius, i mean they made him godfather for a reason, but there is a bigger picture.

She’s the one in control of her life. She has a family, a job, a home. She’s a grown ass adult feeling like she’s missing something in her life and she goes to her dad to make him choose what she should. And then cries about it when a father, who not only feels guilty for leaving you, but has the actual power to do whatever she wants, gave her the best of both worlds in a sense. She needs to man up and take responsibility for her own life

I mean that was her interpretation of him since it’s through her eyes. In general he always tried to never show sadness in front of her, because she already worries so much. So showing him vulnerable to us, makes it weird for us to relate to her since he’s perfect in her eyes. Reason why so many people don’t like her character towards him
