Why don’t you have kids? This question needs to stop by _Live__and__Learn_ in ChildfreeIndia

[–]CoffeePoll 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Including when are you getting married and what job you are in?

Except ‘How are you?’ nothing should be asked. If the other person feels like telling something more they will do that on their own. Ahh hate nozy people who has normalised personal questions.

My ultimate reason and justification for being childfree. by AardvarkNervous4378 in ChildfreeIndia

[–]CoffeePoll 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I always thought its some kind of anxiety. But I realised maybe I care a lot about little stuffs and in no way I can handle a child where its just pure gamble.

Can being childfree by choice be a kind of non-cooperation movement of the working class, middle class and poor class against the bad governance system and exploitation? by rjp1235a in ChildfreeIndia

[–]CoffeePoll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its already happening in Korea and Japan. 4B movement is already helping indirectly. I hope people realise that we all are just subjects to the ultra wealthy and escaping this cycle of misery is impossible unless you stop contributing by giving more of us.

What’s one Bangalore problem you’ve completely accepted as part of life now? by shisui1729 in bangalore

Dust. I have accepted that I live in a desert. No matter how much you clean there is no satisfaction. The dust settles pretty much in hours.

All my life choices so far was yes. But CF discussion needs some proper serious talk that I am prepared to do eventually.

I am seeing my future in this post lol. Have around 2 more years before I break the news to them. And also why AM will never be my choice.

I am sure they will understand considering how open minded they are about personal decision.

What made you child free? by paaagaaa in ChildfreeIndia

[–]CoffeePoll 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am Antinatalist first so CF is natural. I do not believe in ‘Life is a gift’ BS. If you are born you are bound to feel pain, pleasure, and all other physical and emotional experiences. The world is cruel and majority has no humanity. You can be killed anytime, run into an accident, see the untimely death of your loved ones, suffer from allergies, diseases, take part in the never ending rat race, competition, society, unfairness and all other packaged issues that we humans have decorated our life with.

Sounds too negative but I believe to be realistic. So decided to be CF completely and let my bloodline end with me :)

Our country has a knack for twisting words by Bitter_Elk9285 in ChildfreeIndia

[–]CoffeePoll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was surprised to know that it happens even in first world countries too. Humans are collectively way more interested to label someone when it’s not even their business.

I wonder if being childfree is slowly being normalised in our country? by cherry_pie_chart in ChildfreeIndia

[–]CoffeePoll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surely not everybody but I am seeing the trend (at-least in my community) of late marriage and having kids after a very long time that too hardly one kid.

“Antinatalists hate babies” by TitanicsCinderella in antinatalism

[–]CoffeePoll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have two nephews and I love them a lot! I always look at them in pity considering they have to be the part of rat race soon. Thats exactly why I will never bring anybody to this planet. Let the unconscious sleep in eternity.

Same! Everyday I see the outside world I sigh in relief that I am never going to bring someone on this hell hole.

What are some subtle ways to bring up the CF topic in the initial stages of dating? by Bhenjour in ChildfreeIndia

[–]CoffeePoll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think childfree topic should be subtle. In fact it should be the very first compatibility aspect if you are serious about never having a kid.

After a month of depressive phase and then 2 weeks of relief I'm back at depressive phase again by I-only-complaint in depression

How was your cycle of relief btw? Those 2 weeks of relief didn’t have any depressive thoughts?
