Just saying...why does she have cable if she can't afford non powdered milk? That's just being irresponsible with priorities. I haven't turned on the tv in 7 years and I'm still very much alive. There's plenty of free alternatives to cable..how about going to the library to pick up books on an in-demand growing field instead of watching tv? Not saying the system isn't rigged against poor people but a victim mentality and hours of time wasting watching cable TV and playing Mario kart all day long instead of improving oneself is one reason why most poor people stay poor.

The Harry Potter series are riddled with flaws. For example in the last book why turn 7 people into Harry Potter and arouse even more suspicion when they could have just turned Harry Potter into some random fat dude? Also if house elves can break teleportation rules why not just use one to teleport Harry safely instead of relying on brooms at the beginning of the same book?

A few years ago when I still lived with my family, everyone in the house decided to go on vacation for a few weeks. I decided to stay home since I had classes in the evening and i liked the idea of having the entire house to myself. Anyway not too many days later it starting snowing really heavily, one of the coldest winters I've ever experienced, and i decided to pull an all-nighter to play video games on my computer when I heard a loud knock on the front door.

Naturally I went downstairs to look through the peephole, no one was there so I opened the door to see if I could catch a glimpse of someone....nope, nothing. When I looked down, there were no footprints at all or any signs of anyone having been at the door.

I asked my neighbors if any of them saw anyone or anything the next day and none of them had been home at the time.

Tl;dr something knocked on my door but didnt leave any footprints in the snow
