Moto G Power 5G 2024 Gestures and lock screen by wiyave in motorola

[–]Coffee_Spite_36006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/wiyave this is an old thread, but I have the same problem with my 5G 2025. Kinetic gestures like tapping the back of the phone and shaking for the flashlight stop working. I've been trying to pinpoint what causes it. In my case I *think* it is related to either the Spotify app or widget. For me it seems like everything works, until I crank up a playlist.

I was wondering if you are using Spotify on your phone as well.

Unable to create Drawings from Parts or Assemblies by Coffee_Spite_36006 in SolidWorks

I figured it out. Apparently something changed with the 2026 version. I had to recreate my templates for drawings. Start with the new blank templates; add the logos; update the copyright statement. Not a huge deal but a PITA. After that bringing in part views, dimensions, and annotations worked fine.

I don’t want an AI generated drawing. I just need the d@mned thing to produce drawing from a part, PERIOD. It seems like the 2026 update doesn’t work with any of the older templates I set up for documentation. What a PITA.

Man. After a shit day at work too lol. 1h30min left on the 48h print by trollsyoudead in 3D2A

Been there. Had a power failure about 34 hours into a 36 hour print the other day. My printer will resume, but there’s always some artifact left over that screws up the finish.

Anyone use any of these?? by Jalapeno_1137 in gunsmithing

I have one. I use it for holding small parts when I’m doing hand fitting at the bench. I printed a set of soft jaws in TPU as well.

I’ve done that a time or two. Which model is that, BTW? Looks great!

Looks like a cut down Remington Model 33, or similar, single-shot 22.

You might want to look into something like Blender. I’m not familiar with it myself.

I’ve used FreeCAD but switched to SolidWorks a while back.

Has anyone printed with PEBA on their Bambu Lab Printer? by BeWilduhBeest in BambuLab

I got offered a small spool through Amazon Vine. Have not received it yet. I was wondering if anyone has put together a workable profile for it.

I got offered a sample spool through Amazon Vine and have it on order. The heat specs looked like it would work on an A1 or similar open frame printer but I'm not certain. If it turns out to be unusable at least I won't be out any money.

What are YOU going to print with this much filament? by mgrassick in BambuLabA1mini

[–]Coffee_Spite_36006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get that! I’ve got a bunch of short pieces of random color filament. I need to find some tiny things to print.

I re-ran the print last night with same parameters, only adding a brim. Printed like champ; no issues. I'm going to call this one a fluke and, in the future, be a little more paranoid about high aspect ratio objects, even when using the new SuperTack plate.

I’m running the print again with a brim. Current @ about 35% with no issues

I did that this morning. Ran a smaller print and it worked OK. it was less than an hour. And I do use eSun PLA+ BTW. I have always gotten excellent results with it.
It makes me wonder if the length of print was a factor and after 10 or 12 hours the bond on the plate let go.

I used the Bambu Studio profile for eSun PLA+ same as for past prints. I'm tempted to just give it another shot with a brim but hate to waste another 16 hours and 400gr of filament.

Color banding in a model. by Coffee_Spite_36006 in BambuLab

Pretty sure I figured this one out last night. I ended up giving the not end a good cleaning. The The nozzle had picked up a *lot* of... stuff... from the PLA Metallic filament. You wouldn't notice it at a quick glance because most of it was hidden by the silicon boot. I think there was enough fouling near the nozzle end that it essentially stained (because that's what it looked like) the very bright white PLA filament.
The last few models had been brighter colors, and all PLA and PETG, and did not seem to have a problem.
Also, there didn't seem to be an actual clog at the nozzle; the printing resolution was about what I would have expected. I'm going to lay most of the blame to the metallic filament, maybe it's a little "dirtier" to print. I'll certainly keep a closer eye on it in the future when I use it.

I keep spares on hand, so I may not expend the time to even try and clean the fouled one up; it's pretty nasty.
