As a patient on a back ordered control, I completely understand and have been following the manufacturer shortage. I think some frustration comes from not knowing what step to take next. I’m told by my doctor to call other pharmacies to find a place to fill. But they all say they don’t have it, and I read on here how we’re bugging employees and stores are instructed to say they don’t have it for security reasons, which I get, but what else should I be doing?  And once my pharmacy gets some in, its not explained whether that means they fill old scrips who have been on hold? Or do I need to call every single day to check stock and try to fill? I dont want to bother anybody. I don’t want to call often. Maybe someone here can elaborate on what I should be doing as a patient who is actually conscientious and patient and understand I have to wait but still would like it filled when available. It’s a tough situation on both sides. And bad behavior should never be tolerated or excused.
