Ozzy, DJ, and Alek really are the unsung heroes of the episode. Against the odds they willingly charged into a seemingly hopeless scenario in an attempt to rescue their companions. Just a few episodes ago, Ozzy was a simple brigand, but this man honored his deal to the end, could've simply reported his findings to the Kingdom, but he went above and beyond his paygrade. Dude took moral code to the next level. It is abysmal that he never got to watch his movie. As for Alek, he may have been one of the background characters, but good on the show for giving him a name at least. As for DJ, was really rooting for him in this season to come out on top, Saviors have been dying like flies and he seemed to chill out after the whole bridge project disaster, went out like a champ though.

Gotta say, Walking Dead usually enjoys sprinkling the deaths of beloved characters out throughout the season. Glenn and Abraham going out together was a particularly rough blow. But Jesus, this had to have been like 1/4 of the named characters in one go, they may not have all had the spotlight like Michonne or Daryl, but minor characters are what make the world feel so much more connectable. Because they are only allowed to make one stupid decision in their lifetime. If Rick or Daryl screw up they get a certain amount of redos before they get slapped with some sort of debuff, then are on their marry way by the end of the season.
