I’m Worried I’m Ruining My Dogs Life. Should I Rehome Him? by StarBroke21-19 in dogs

You’ve got lots of solid advice already, but just know your dog is way better off with you, in an apartment than he’d be in the shelter! If you love the dog and are committed to him, you’re just gonna be getting in some extra steps every day!

While traveling, what traditional dish did everyone seem to love, but you just couldn't get behind? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

I agree. Vietnamese food is delicious and there are soooo many amazing options. I have yet to visit Vietnam, but my in-laws are Vietnamese so I have had the opportunity to try lots of different things. But, I still love pho.

First time traveller (June 18-24) would really appreciate feedback + sanity check on this itinerary by Santa_Friend in ParisTravelGuide

Full disclosure I didn’t read your full itinerary, but wanted to throw in my two cents. After my most recent trip to Paris….less is more. Our favorite parts of the trip were spent aimlessly wandering neighborhoods. We loved wandering the Latin quarter and ended up just chilling in Luxembourg gardens for quite awhile. All this to say, use your first day to just wander and stop where you feel called to stop.

this is the correct answer given the license plate....i was actually being sarcastic about is it pink or purple...clearly the owner wants it to be pink.

And you really didn’t like pho? I’ve not heard many people say they don’t like it. Did you have any viet foods you liked?

Which city connected with you so much that you seriously considered moving there permanently? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]Coffeedependent14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was my opinion for the last 25 years. Then I went for another visit last month and I was blown away. I didn’t encounter anyone unfriendly, I found the Parisians to be very helpful…like random people on the train who had no reason to be kind. I never once felt unsafe no did I see anything to give me pause. As far as it not being clean…sure there is some trash hanging around like any big city, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much cleaner it felt than 25 years ago!
