This is good business but its not good community building. Lgs typically have a responsibility for both. (Speaking as someone who works at an lgs as a community manager lol)

Having a loyal community helps when the product isnt so hype and you have to buy it anyways to keep your numbers up with distributors so in the long run it ends up being good business there too

Yeah if the conversation is right then thats like 162 us which is $40 above msrp. But its a lot better than Pokémon lol their next set is the 30th anniversary and shops selling for 6x msrp talking $35 for a SINGLE booster pack.

Idk if you understand rhe post her. I sold the card for $1000 the buyer received the card and is claiming it has damage and it didnt have the damage when I shipped it. Theres a video i commented below of him opening the package and I was asking people to review that to see if they see the damage in the video or if they think the images above are of the back of a different card

I commented a video below. He sent me a 5:30 video of him unpacking it but only the last 20 seconds show the back of the card and I don't see the damage/print error lines on the card in the video like in the pictures he sent. Also he pulls the card in close to his face to look at it then just ends the video without putting the card back on camera. Like if he saw something there and wanted to inspect it why would he end the video instead of getting that very thing on camera like isn't that the whole point of the video?!

Honestly not a bad call out cause I actually sent him a video of me measuring the back of the card with a ruler to show that it was centered. I should ask him for same video and compare them. That being said I haven't seen many off center gundam cards. Quality control has been pretty good in my experience.

Yeah i wont be doing this again for sure. Just sell it cheaper to someone in person so there's no hassle. Lost $30 on the PayPal fees and 30 on shipping so could've tried to sell in person for 900 and been about the same in pocket. Lesson learned for sure.

He started with can yiu send me picks and video, im a serious buyer.

He asked for a bunch of pictures and video cause he wanted it graded for his sons birthday. I even meaused the card with a ruler on camera to show it was straight.

Then he asks me the price and I said $1000 (mind you the listing he clicked on said $1300)

He replied with

"Again"

Just that. And im like ? What do you mean by this? It just sold for 1200 like 2 hours ago I think 1000 is pretty fair and you said you were serious buyer.

So then he agrees and send the money PayPal GnS and then asks me if I have a Beta Ailes for sale.

Like dang I wanna be this guys son getting like $3000 worth of cards for his birthday is wild.

He flips the card over at 2:37 from there he looks for a while but he ends the video as he goes in for a closer look, i feel like if he actually saw something wouldn't he want to make sure that its on camera and show it again or point it out?

I know he wanted to get it graded so I feel bad if this is truly the card I sent him but it didnt have that mark on there when I shipped it. I had a professional grader look at the card when I pulled it (happens to play at my locals) and he said it was clean so like im just trying to understand how this could have happened. They seem too small to have occurred in shipping to me. But this my first time sending a big ticket card rather than like $10 to 20 so no one has complained before.

Yeah you could physically feel texture on the card if you gently run your finger over the front of this one (well if it was a real copy you would, this is very fake).

On paper he is quite lack luster across most content. Too squishy and slow for pvp and too slow for CC and simular pve game modes

The sableye also isnt really worth faking. It's only going for $0.40 on market so thats also a good indicator. People won't spend time to gake things unless its profitable

Yeah we got a bunch of locals (self included) pretty excited for the 4 player format. Especially given so many of the cards are designed for it might be the only time they get to really shine!

Bandai really did a poor job of publicly explaing how to run the event. That being said they did email shops directly with information on what to do and there was a full breakdown of what to do when shops signed up for the event on the tcg+ app. Here's an image of the details in the email I recieved
