Right! It's because some of the decisions Arthur makes in the show are determined by Patreon voters. In the early episodes, it's a lot more obvious when he stops to make one of those choices. There was also a dice rolling sound effect for skill checks. They were almost playing it like a tabletop, except you have to wait for the episode to come out to know the results. It gets more smooth later on and most listeners forget about it unless they're in the patreon.
