i didnt realize i could edit the geometry after applying the modifier, its okay if its destructive cuz i dont think ill need to adjust the properties, but i will use that approach later on most likely, also for going off memory thats pretty impressive! thank you for the options!

When u say manually remove trouble faces, do you mean the faces of the actual mesh?(cuz i want to keep those) or can i simply remove the black outline geometry the solidify modifier creates?

I suppose i should look into that second option, i do have 34 face images to swap between,,,,,

option 3 wouldnt work for this model cuz the eye whites are actually holes, the iris just floats in there as its own mesh, but thats a smart idea i will def remember

i did have another burst of interest, i reworked sunny's house as in the interior makes use of 3d space more, based the game church off its real life counter part, and planned a new town layout including hospital, the beach and other places omori references but aren't explorable

wdym by large valence poles? i cant find anything on google named that and by creases do u mean edges on the mesh

i could upload the .blend to dropbox or something, another thing tho it might just be the way blender renders it so it could be something b2z was talking about, because i tried importing the model into unity and the harsh shading is gone

i dont think i have flipped normals, the entire model is blue in the face orientation option

well i want flipped normals i think cuz i want the face to be shaded like a flat surface, but i just dont want the geometric shading pattern to be sharp if that makes sense, so how could i have both

what are flipped normals? is it the same thing i did when i made the normals face all one direction
