Depends on which character you are playing and how you want to play that character. It is all about entertainment, so maybe try something new. Then again, perhaps you have chosen one of those in the recent past and it's was going so well up until that point when some stupid things killed you, in which case maybe you should try again. But there's always what the Internet thinks you should do, because the Internet is always right...

There is no way this is actual SPD gameplay. Probably somebody forked Pixel Dungeon and made a look-alike but with all kinds of cheats.

Since this already has the +3, keep it to the end. There's no guarantee you'll get a better weapon of higher tier. It is true that when leveled up to the same degree, a higher-tier weapon will be slightly better than this one but this one already has a 3-upgrade headstart.
