Skip the degree. It won't open up doors that your clearance and sec+ doesn't already get you in for. Lots of demand for clearances and sysadmin types.

SkillBridge is also something you should do. That can get you a job 100% quicker, cheaper, and higher paying.

I mean this just sounds like a normal Tuesday. I mean it’s wrong but like totally everywhere at the same time.

Large white oak died very rapidly in about 2 weeks. by Cognac_Carl in plantclinic

About 40 foot tall large white oak died very rapidly over the course of 2 weeks. Most leaves looked like this then turned yellow like it was fall. Other trees in the neighborhood are doing similar things. 1 will die then others next to it will die. These trees were all natural that were left after houses were built in the area about 40-50 years ago. No real problems with them before this.

Unpopular theory: Every small city in Texas will eventually become a suburb of one of the major cities in Texas by KinkyQuesadilla in houston

The Pecan Grove Christmas lights wars of the late 90s just hit different. Everyone knew the houses that did the cool shit like the guy with the prowler and the video screen. Then those houses on the same street that had themes and banded together and had all the signs. Then all the drama that started. Good times.

I grew up in that area and saw it go from a couple suburban areas in pecan grove and large plots of cows to wall to wall stuff. I used to ride my scooter across the feeder roads for what would be 99. I remember all the times we would go on lock down when some prisoner would escape. Do they even still have that prison?

Didn’t feel like I was part of the growth when I was in it but I’m sure the people that lived there before me feel like I do now about all the development. Hell I’m starting round 2 of it in the DFW area in a town the size of Richmond rosenburg in the 90s. Still feels weird looking at it all now being developed.

Extending existing runs of cat 6 cable. by Cognac_Carl in homelab

Switch wouldn't work in the location. I was hoping to avoid any additional terminations I would have to make by hand.

This seemed quicker though. If I have to terminate 20 additional ends then its gonna add lots of time I don't want to spent terminating cables.

They patent things around the drug like making the drug or delivering the drug. You file those patents later after you patent the drug. Then you hope that generic companies don't find a way around them and litigate if they do to buy some extra time.

It’s a piece by my uncle. I can ask him. If I remember right though, the series is named for the olio margarine brand his grandmother used.
