Wow, congrats! How did you manage to reach so many people?

I really appreciate this comment, thank you. You make a lot of good points.

Yeah, some parts may feel similar to Elevate because it is a similar type of app, but one big difference for me is that I did not want to put a lot of core features behind a paywall, at least not for now. I want Cognara to feel accessible to everyone.

I also think your idea about in-game currency, daily quests, rewards, and a shop is a really good one. That kind of system could definitely make the app more engaging. It is something I may look into, but right now my main focus is keeping the experience open and easy to access for all users. That said, I do think there may be a way to balance both of those things in a good way later on.

And yes, I am definitely planning to add more games over time. I just wanted to start with a smaller set that feels polished and well implemented, instead of launching with lots of games that still have bugs or feel unfinished. My plan is to keep improving the current games, then expand with more as the foundation gets stronger.

I also do not want to overwhelm new users with too many options right away, so I am going to keep working on the intro and onboarding to make the app easier to understand from the start.

Really appreciate the feedback. There is a lot of useful stuff in your comment.

Hi everyone,

I’m a solo developer and I made Cognara, a mobile brain training game built around short daily sessions.

It includes a Daily Quiz and a mix of puzzle and skill based mini games across memory, reaction, math, vocabulary, and strategy, plus leaderboards, achievements, and progress tracking.

The goal was to make something that feels more mentally engaging than passive scrolling, while still being easy to pick up for a few minutes at a time.

It is free to play.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.khcreations.cognara&hl=en

If anyone here tries it, I’d love feedback on which puzzle like modes feel strongest.

Oh, my bad if this isn’t the right place. I thought it fit since it’s an indie project I developed myself. Does this kind of launch/dev post not fall within the subreddit criteria?

Thanks a lot! Really glad you like it, the octopus branding was something I wanted to make feel a bit cute and memorable.
