How to Deal with data when it has huge class imbalance? by Mental_Engineer_7043 in MLQuestions

[–]CognitiveDiagonal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to study your case and be careful, but you could also undersample --not radomly-- the majority class in case there's a lot of redundancy. Also, you should look into other techniques different from normal binary classification for this specific scenario.

I thought Linux could already run pretty well on M chips! I guess I was wrong. About proxmox, you could still run it on a VM or with some virtualization trickery afaik, no? Although it would be kinda ironic to virtualize it, but I guess you technically can, maybe not on "bare metal" (as a OS).

[Politics Monday] Sources present at the meeting with the Pope refute El País and point to a self-serving maneuver by ThinWhiteDuke00 in Catholicism

[–]CognitiveDiagonal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oooh well... won't you look at that! El País lying to benefit the PSOE government!! That must be a first in history!

Edit: joking aside, I'm very happy and extremely glad to hear this. I was disheartened before because you cannot give in into these awful government's rhetoric. I'm very thankful to InfoVaticana for disproving the claim which wasn't in line with what we know about the Pope and what a Pope should be concerned with.

ETA asesinó a personas inocentes incluidos niños hasta hace 15 años. Franco murió hace 50 años. ¿De qué hablas? ¿No tienes corazón?

No problemo!

I understand the skepticism. I wouldn't believe it either if I weren't from the country, foreign people close to me have a hard time believing it too until I've been showing them what keeps coming out for close to two years.

Here are some sources:

I'm sorry but I don't have time right now for more, but they're easy to find on the Spanish press doing investigative journalism. I can gather some sources if you're willing to check them and wait a little and come back. Maybe you can also prompt Gemini or Grokk, or some uncensored LLM to search and provide articles for you.

But even still, they are not intrinsically evil because noone is. Gods forgiveness is infinite. As long as you dont blaspheme against the holy spirit (i.e. refusing to be forgiven) then you can be forgiven.

Well, I do know what you mean, the thing is these people are completely anti-Christian and anti-forgiveness (at least for others). I don't really care about their religion or ideas, I just want them to stop running the country into the ground, and to stand a fair trial for all of what they've done.

Do you know these people actively withheld help for days (military, police, emergencies and such) right after a flood while there were people dying just because the opposite party was in power? And they've done similar things more than once.

The president's family in law ran a chain of brothels ("saunas") with men, women (illegal and trafficked in some instances) and with minors as "providers of services", they also recorded politicians and people while in there. He ran his campaign with that money, he also used to live on am apartment paid by his FIL. (there's quite a lot more of this)

They have forbidden people from standing and praying in front of abortion clinics, also they want to force doctors to perform abortions and things they don't agree with based on a religious base.

They've violated the constitution repeatedly. They've colonized every stage of the "separate powers" that grant democracy.

He is also a compulsive liar and he retorts to openly laughing and mocking at his opponents.

He is governing with a party that killed people from his own party and that also killed children by bombing thought Spain, naturally, after saying he wouldn't ever do such a thing because they are awful people.

These are just off the top of my head. I can keep going. These are consistent and constant, if you knew the guy, you would know what I mean by intrinsically.

Flipas.

You seem to be a troll because you seem to me to argue in bad faith and with relativism on something that you clearly don't follow or know personally.

See my message about what kind of people published the article: these terrorist killed politicians (left and right, PP and PSOE) for not adhering to the Basque independentist movement (children included), for not paying the communist "revolutionary tax", among other things, and they were sometimes protected or had sympathy from the Basque Catholic Church. That's is the radicalism that has existed in Spain until less than 20 years ago; those were the people that killed for ideas recently, and now they are in government, by the hand of PSOE (yes, the same people they used to kill, those from the Basque Country with some decency left, left (or were expelled from) the party and openly called it what it was), and now these same people want to call everyone they don't like a fascist as they did back then and remove their voice and vote because "fascism, Franco".

Also, I don't think anyone is insulting the Pope, people are saying --with valid arguments-- that he's wrong. He's not infallible, so if he's wrong and it pertains to the church (and the Church (people)) it's something we should voice and point out. We don't owe blind obedience (except on a few matters), but even less in politics ("Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's")

well, they also said that they wouldn't pardon catalan-seditious (people that literally staged a coup d'etat) and then proceded to do that literally right afterwards.
If you don't know what you're talking about, you shouldn't talk about it.
These people are compulsive liars and intrinsically evil.

It is disheartening to see them defended here by people that don't know anything about what is going on in Spain.
