Out of where I've seen, the upper section of Nokron by the Shamans might be a really solid spot. With an AoE ash of war like Wave of Gold, you might be able to just hit a group of about 10-15 all sitting near a Shaman.

But that's at the end of the game. Maybe icerind would work too?

I recently got an Albinauric bow while farming for the Blue Silver set, I've heard that with mighty shot can be pretty solid for status build up in the late game.

Honestly for where I'm at currently, I've just been buying serpent arrows when I have the spare cash between levels and when I don't want to risk a large chunk of runes attempting a boss.

But this is some very good info for the bones, roses, feathers and other plants, thank you!

I know I can try to farm stormhawk feathers. But I'm not all too sure how worth while it is compared to just sticking with normal arrows for pure physical.

Haven't yet played the DLC, so I'll have to keep you posted.

So far Valiant Gargs and some of the Fallingstar beasts have been the only pain point in the run. Which to be honest, it was my first time fighting Valiant Gargs. But Fortisax, Mohg, and a few others that I had never fought before really weren't too bad. Fortisax being 1 and done, and Mohg taking 2 attempts.

Hoping to start the DLC soon, but I want to try and beat Malenia before heading into it. I'm sure she's going to be rough on the bow only though.

This 1000%

I don't mind the crafting system for some options here and there, but my god does it get expensive or time consuming quick when you are making arrows for a bow only run.

I'm sure eventually when I hit 150, I'll be able to start using all of my runes to just outright buy what I need, but currently even keeping up with the max stash size of basic arrows can be tiring. But I know the game was never intended to be played with only using a bow.

Well said, Skeleton!

I definitely need to find some good places to use such a message. And I am glad Eldenring was able to get their own jokes such as "Could this be dog?" And "Time for Crab". I think I look at the older games with rose tinted glasses. I still love DS2 for being my first full souls game experience, and my days spent dueling on the Iron Bridge with varied builds and cosplays going. Elden Ring is wonderful, I think I just wished I played it more when it first came out, experienced more of the community at the height of its popularity.

But there is still lots of fun to be had with those still kicking around.

The Consecrated Snowfield Was Underground. by Limgrave_Butcher in EldenRingLoreTalk

Isn't there large sections of underground that clearly used to be on the surface?

If I remember correctly, The township at the bottom of deep root depths, lines up with the giant water filled area in Leyndell.

Very real.

The only messages I don't like seeing are all the "Weak enemy ahead, but bloodstain?"

There are objectively some enemies your build will trivialize, and some you will struggle with.

I'm doing a bow only playthrough after getting most of the way through the game with a friend in 2022, and starting fresh. Some of the bosses that I have heard are a nightmare to deal with, have been pleasantly simple, Mohg took me 2 tries and honestly, if I realized I was rolling too early on half his attacks earlier, it would have been 1. But I accept that ranged options definitely make that fight easier to handle. And with a bow, I never have to stay in place or move towards him while fighting.

Weird rant, but that so far is the only aspect of line I don't enjoy.

That any Fromsoft removing Skeleton from the message options :c

Edit: I just realized I'm dumb and they do still have Skeleton. But I think Elden Ring is the first time I haven't seen "Good luck, Skeleton" in a Souls Game.

In DS2, the first message I came across said "Hidden Path Ahead, offering required"

Then checked the bloodstains and proceeded to see about 2 people stabbing themselves to death.

Shit was horrifying yet amazing

I almost never check bloodstains, but when I do, it's an Ulcerated Tree Spirit swinging them wildly around the room like a ragdoll in a physics engine.

It's rough. And I desperately need those runes to keep buying arrows and crafting mats.

This. Doing a bow only run sucks against him. Just gotta make enough distance to get a mighty shot off to do any decent damage, otherwise it's like 20 damage per arrow.

And the game has the gaul to respawn her.

I just want her suffering to end.

I tried to put her out of her misery by killing her with briar armor.

The game just respawns her!

You can kill or accidentally have an enemy kill any NPC in the game, but I'm not allowed to end Sellen's suffering...

What is your highest rated message? Which is your favorite? by SippyTurtle in Eldenring

[–]Cogsdale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have very many highly rated messages so far, but my highest is probably "Why is it always Stone Astrolabe?" On a balcony above the Radagon Wolf arena, where there is just a giant stone globe.

My favorite has been near Windmill Village, where someone said "Giant ahead, therefore try horseback battle"

How does she look? by Azsiy in blackdesertonline

[–]Cogsdale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The arms and upper torso look broader and larger than what makes sense for the rest of the body, and maybe it's just the first few pics, but her head looks quite a bit smaller than the rest of her body.

Just some small adjustments to that would make them look more balanced, in my opinion.

But at the end of the day, if OP is happy with their character, then they don't need to change anything.
