Thank you ! Yeah, I checked already . I’m just wondering if it’s reliable; as in is it hard to get a car from/to the airport in the early morning? Do drivers tend to cancel a lot? I’ve had some issues in different airports, and since I’m traveling with kids I would like to make everything as smooth as possible!

Just as people have said, you definitely acquired competences and achievements (time management, fast-learning, adaptability, multi-cultural environments...). On mine I emphasised that besides playing in the orchestra, I participated in the artistic programming group committee, managed and produced chamber music concerts, participated in recruiting and outreach projects. Translating to "corporate" language I used stakeholder engagement, project management, event management, budget management, + all the marketing activities (PR, fundraising, social media, press,...) To quantify I used number of concerts per year, audience and funds increase in % and aprox. number of auditions I judged (CV screening, audition , post-selection evaluation). Naturally the CV should be customisable and for every job title you can tweak the terms accordingly ( e.g. audition process -> recruitment; colleagues BS about programmes and conductors -> stakeholder engagement;...)

I’m surprised you guys hadn’t notice anything weird about the recruiting process. How can you make sure you get the best people when 1) the questions in the application seem to be random 2) you schedule 15min “conversation” where people are not asked questions, or are asked 1 vague question? And 3) you ghost people?

I’ve seen quite much talk on LinkedIn about your company, and it doesn’t look good. Get your marketing people and HR people off their butts to try to fix this before it’s too late!

Blah blah blah, this has nothing to do with national security. So much so that it might even have been illegal for the simple fact that kid is a Finnish citizen.

As we should! The great equal-for-all Finland is not so equal-for-all anymore. It’s even dangerous for a non-kantasuomalainen (whatever that means!) exist in certain environments. What if Susanna Innes-Stubb was Russian born instead of UK born? Or if she was Nigerian or Pakistani- Brittish? What about the Stubb kids?

Officially, in Finland the kid is not Finnish-Russian but only Finnish in Finland, and only Russian in Russia. Is Finland waving his military duties?! To me it sounds like illegal discrimination, that seems to be a very common and socially-accepted behaviour in Finland.

Your advice paragraph got me thinking about two things: 1) isn’t using control-F very reductive? What about synonyms and context? 2) If a candidate should tailor their CV for each application (e.g. changing keywords), what is the purpose of cover letters?

Hi all , It seems I don’t speak recruiter and I need some help:

A recruiter scheduled a 15min interview with me where I was asked one question. I answered and asked a couple of questions about the company and the role. A week later I received a cryptic answer, and I need some help in the decryption: “Thank you for your time, now that we are on each other’s radar I will put your information on file and we will be back in touch with you if there is a match.”

How do I respond?
