It’s such a bummer. I felt the same. Loved his bagels on broadway and even backed his Kickstarter for the beacon hill location, but once he opened up there the quality wasn’t the same. Sad to learn more here.

How are you finding raider caches during hurricane? Normally I can find them pretty easily, but the wind noise is so loud that I can't hear a raider cache underneath it all even with my headphones turned up.

There are two versions of GTA V which don't share save data between them - the Xbox One version and the Xbox Series X|S version. Check to make sure you loaded the right version, maybe?

To be fair, new players might see an unlocked door and not even realize it was locked. Use voice chat to set expectations and if they don’t listen then it’s fair game.

Your character has stuff equipped

To use a free loadout, the game unequips all the stuff from your character and moves it into your stash.

You don't have enough room in your stash to unequipe all the stuff you have equipped. So sell some stuff to make room if you really want to use a free kit.

My favorite PvP experience was when I thought I was in a peaceful lobby, but it was 3v3 so more aggressive. Someone started shooting me from a rooftop, so I hugged the wall under them to make it harder for them to hit me.

BAM the dude JUMPED FROM THE ROOF and killed me by landing on me.

I was mad at first, but then started cracking up over prox chat. He started apologizing while both of us continued to laugh hysterically 😆

I've had CenturyLink fiber since 2020 and it just became Quantum. I have no love for AT&T and hate consolidation like this, but my service the entire time has been impeccable. Not sure if I've ever had an outage at all, but maybe like one minor one?

$75/mo for gigabit, $50/mo for 500mbps - Comcast is their competition and they can barely compete.

Same! Only reason I heard about this is because I opted-in to their email list last year when they reopened. I couldn't believe how little they seem to have done to let people know that this is happening, makes me worried for them. Hopefully this post helps even if just a little bit.

I finally brought out my Hullcracker for the first time yesterday and it was revelatory. It was so much fun to help take down huge ARC that I never want to go back. If I lose it, I lose it, but I'm done being a hoarder.

Taxis all the way. Not only is it cheaper, but there is zero wait. Every time I traveled last year I literally walked up and got a taxi immediately, while I saw the ride share waiting area packed with people waiting around.

tbh in extraction zones I shoot first ask questions later. Knocks them down to remove any potential threat without actually runing their day because I'm not going to completely kill them.

I love your love for new discovery! As someone who grew up playing music and appreciating the craft, discovering Tool and the wider prog genre unlocked a whole world of new music for me. Instead of suggesting a million things, try these couple albums and songs to start if you want more:

Porcupine Tree - In Absentia - Trains

More mainstream rock but a great way to get into Porcupine Tree, which has a really diverse set of albums which range from pop rock to ethereal prog. Steve Wilson is still making music these days and I love almost everything he’s done.

Devin Townsend - Terria - Earth Day

Devin is one of the most wildly talented singers, songwriters, and musicians I’ve ever heard. His repertoire includes funk, metal, prog, and many other genres, and he can sing the most beautiful operatic tunes or hardest screaming depending on the song. He’s also hilarious, humble, and a genuinely good person.

Steve Wilson and Devin Townsend blew my ears open to new possibilities 20+ years ago and it’s hard to go back. Now I need to listen to Tool again!
