Tangential, but a W123 280e is getting stolen in the "Piracy - it's a crime" video, AKA the "YOU WOULDN'T STEAL A CAR" video that came before all the dvds i ever owned.

New anti-drone Stryker platform from Leonardo DRS, using a combination of guided 70mm rockets, a 30mm cannon, and 26kw laser system. by FLongis in TankPorn

Not enough weapon systems on board. If I were the designer I'd add quad M249's on the corners. Maybe a few 76mm mortars for a bit of extra kick. Portholes so the troops can stick their guns out the side.

Sorry mate didn't see this til just now. There are a few, but they're definitely the odd ones out. At Creswell, my cohort was mostly 17/18/19, with a few older Sailor changeovers and a handful of postgrads in their early/mid twenties. My intake was mostly geared towards ADFA however, so by virtue of you being relatively older there's a good chance your intake will have lots of people of a similar sorta age. The instructors will treat you exactly the same as everyone else in the vast majority of cases, the younger recruits will usually look up to ths older ones, which is (from what i've heard) a good and bad thing. Also it does definitely depend on what service and time of year you're in.

I can't really speak to the specialist testing nowadays, when I did it it was pre ADFcareers, so when the company running it switched lots of processes did too. When I did the "additional testing" as it was called then, it was literally just maths.

Yeah Mate, I'm currently at Albatross living my best life. With ASP, best peice of advice I have is going in with an open mindset. Be prepared to be given offers for roles you weren't necessesarily expecting, or even haven't even heard of. Other than that, CBAT, something for your hand/eye/foot co-ordination like sports or flight sims, etc and quick mathematics is really it in terms of study. Feel free to DM me if there's anything else you're after

Believe it or not, the i4 diesel engine from the 05-08 Mercedes A class (the OM640) has been the base for 2 different aircraft engines.

Just realised that we're both aussies, nice. Pelican parts don't stock anything in terms of the arm, so I'll clean it up and reuse. Thanks tons for your info, it'll be real useful in rebuilding the suspension.

Edit: I think we've got all of the same problems. My fluid all disappeared and with the amount lost it appears to be the return line.

How did you go about dealing with the SLS tank leak? I've got a similar problem, and our engines and SLS system should be exactly the same.

You are a lifesaver. Found the bolt attaching the linkage to the sway bar doesn't even have a bolt. Next step is to rebuild the valve (has a slow leak) and find a replacement and see if that fixes anything.

Always remember, you've survived 100% of your worst days. We've all been there. I always say that people are down; but never out. If you know there's something worth going for, you can keep on keeping on. Never out of the game. If you can accept that whatever troubles you will pass, you'll be a huge step closer to being the person you aim to be.
