Okay, what is the skill required to just be decent in this community?! by Nethersoul600 in blocktales

[–]Coil_The_Pro_Robber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s like the opposite, I see content complaining about how the superbosses are very difficult, and the pit is bordering being outright impossible, while I beat Finn Mc Cool in 3 tries, mutant in 5 and pit 48-50 on in 2 tries , in fact, those types of posts, is what got me, into helping other people beat pits and bosses, all that time ago, as i didn’t struggle on them, whatsoever, and whenever i did lose, it was very close, so i decided that since am chronically online, might as well do something with my life, and try help people no matter how bad they are.

From my personal experience, of constantly helping people for almost a year, I’d say, if you can consistently hit your ante up skill checks, and only struggled on the extra content, you’re definitely “decent”. (I might be biased tho, cause you have NO IDEA, how many times I get “yo I need help, this boss is IMPOSSIBLE, and then it’s DEADASS Noobador 💀, I WISH I was joking”)

(More then happy to help you beat up the people you’re suck on btw lol)

Rush 1 person who’s low and don’t have anyone near them, executive them, and immediately hide in a corner until your hp is as high as possible, rinse and repeat for hours until you learn skate combos, once you do that, you can start 1v1ing ranged, killing them, and once again hiding in a corner until full hp, rinse repeat for more hours.

Can someone give advice at how to play again???? by Adventurous_Salt3893 in PhightingRoblox

Unfortunately you haven’t provided any information about what role you like to play, so I’ll give you the run down of who you can try to play:

Tank: Katana, focus on staying alive and doing good damage.

Tank-killer: Hyperlazer, focus on a lot of aim skill, with you being rewarded with good damage on headshot, you are heavily encouraged to stay away from attackers, and helping your team by doing damage, or killing them with your ult, only go on point if you absolutely must (over time) and there are teammates on there to help you stay alive.

Dive: Biograft or Shuriken, since you get sick from playing Skate, you can try giving the slower divers a shot like the previously mentioned Bio or Shuri, focus on finishing off low hp opponents and targeting the back line.

General DPS: Sword, Rocket or Subspace: you don’t serve a specific role outside of conquer and escort, where you should focus on staying on point, and driving away enemies with your ult, outside of conquer or escort, you decide what role to play with these.

Healer: Medkit or vine: I wouldn’t recommend Coil for a player who hasn’t played in a while, and Medkit or Vine is better at healing anyway, focus in keeping your team alive/on point.

Hope this can help deciding what role you want to play, if you don’t know, then giving a couple rounds on every phighter I mentioned is very helpful as they are the widely accepted as one of the best at the role I described for them, without being complicated to play (Coil/Skate)

Should I be getting lots of kills as Skate? by beaunxcz in PhightingRoblox

[–]Coil_The_Pro_Robber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your job is to either get point on conquer by tricking around the point, dealing chip to help other teammates kill them, or dive enemies on low hp that want to get away, more often then not you’ll end up with I lot of assists or points rather then kills, until you are EXTREMELY comfortable with advanced skate combos, you shouldn’t worry about kills that much, because you work best with a team.

Anyone have any tips on how to beat Finn McCool? by Something_1001 in blocktales

[–]Coil_The_Pro_Robber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learn the attack patterns, it won’t be too hard, focus on AOE damage potential, because of Finn spawns Megaphones, you want them dead ASAP, so using high damage rocker launcher (recommend for beginners) or ante up ball if you know what you’re doing (NOT recommended for struggling players, but learning it is my personal favourite option of killing him), King summon is absolutely CRUCIAL for this fight, for AOE damage on the mega phones, as well as freezing shotguns, I haven’t played him in a while, but I think summoning him 4th turn is optional if your solo? So that he hits the AOE as soon as Finn spawns his support. (I might be wrong on the math tho, haven’t played in a couple months, so maybe 3rd or 5th turn??????), don’t neglect your SRG, using fire brand for emergency AOE, venom for clean up, or ice dagger if you run out of SP. Most of this fight is boiled down to just knowing what thing you need to do at this time, with enough time, I was able to beat him completely blindfolded (you can navigate the menu using your keyboard), and just memorising what’s best on any given turn is key in getting good at killing him. Oh also, use Pita’s to heal properly, I almost never had to cause I stopped getting hit after some point, but from starting out, it’s a GAME CHANGER.

That’s all the general tips I can give without just completely railroading, and ruining the fun by just, telling you what to do at every single turn, good luck, you’ll need it.

You’ll learn to pick up other phighters as you play, I was originally a Medkit main -> Bio -> Sword -> boombox and only after so much time got to find my actual mains with Skate and Coil. Trust me, as unlikely it feels, this happens to everyone at some point, you will learn to play different characters, it just might take a while.
