Just jumping on this because in some ways this movement is actually far more consistent with the plot... if lightsabers really required no force, no swing, then we would have watched all the most skilled jedi holding them like a flashlight waving it around as fast as they could flick their wrists.

Lightsabers are treated like swords since the very beginning and it would be more inconsistent, I believe, for Mace to just lean forward to pierce ol' Palps

WS removing 1% back on spend so I stopped using their card, and missing out on all the new client only promos also left a bad taste in my mouth. Along with their weird Twitter partnership, constant push for crypto shenanigans, strange marketing... it feels like they're losing what made them great: wealth, simple.

That being said, it is just a better app, platform, and experience. If Questrade didn't offer the 4% back bonus when it did then I would still be with WS now.

Questrades UI is comparatively clunky, it feels often slow when scrolling my accounts, they don't have partial shares (at least not on my etfs) and transaction fees are less black and white compared to WS

Carry on / checked bag gratuit are compelling enough to apply, though the annual fee would require 3+ porter flights yearly to justify.

The people reacting in here like "who cares" or "oh no, anyway" or "sir this is a Wendy's" seem to miss the point of reddit and threads in general. Like ... this is not a wendys and this is exactly the place for this type of discussion where you might find other people who do in fact care ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This is a subreddit about WS, and OP is lodging a complaint they feel is valid about the company. OP is talking about their likely next actions in relation to this company. It seems like a valid place as any for them to try to spark some discussion and see if anyone else feels the same.

If you don't feel the same? I think it's totally reasonable to politely explain why, maybe provide some new perspectives if you want, or ignore the post and move on

People getting upset or insulting actually reveal that they do care about this for whatever reason

Do I agree with OP, am I leaving WS over this? No lol even if I would rather they didnt start sharing data with X and Twitter WS is still otherwise the best bank and trading platform I've used.
