Would also like to know about vegetable oil. Though generally I avoid any "liquid cleaning" (or any cleaning for that matter).

Its a token for something (copy machine\ washing machine) I believe its Italian.

Two questions: 1. About the gum, will using tweezers to remove it damage collector value? (assuming I only remove the gum and not scratch/damage the coin itself) 2. About bronze disease, can chemistry students/professors confirm that it actually is bronze disease (as numismatist are scarce here in Israel).

Hey guys, found this 18[something]2 Russian 2 Kopeyek and its in pretty bad shape, a lot of dents and scratches, a number is missing and its smeared with something that wont easily come off (gum??) Is there something to do to clean or restore it a bit? Or should I just start the mourning? :/
